I initially was nervous about getting back into studying and especially since this was an online course. However I found the TEFL to be very straight forward and had lots of instructions and opportunities for help along the course. I found the interactive nature of the Powerpoints and different videos to be great - I didn't just feel like I was reading a never ending document.

Overall I thoroughly enjoyed the course and would recommend this to anyone looking to teach english in the future. Thank you!

What a blessing it is to be able to access education worldwide! With TEFL I was able to complete my certification in canada! I was able to do it in my own time and at my own pace. I found that it was easy to stop and go as needed. This was a game changer in my shift of careers! Thank you for all the valuable content and the time it took to build the course! Now off to find some clients! The videos and interactive activities were very helpful to me as I am a visual, hands on learner. The web links to extra resources was helpful as well.

What was the most nerve-racking moment and how did you overcome it?

I struggle with grammar and as a preschool teacher I only have a basic knowledge of these things. I was stressed out when it asked me a bunch of short hand questions ( in other words it was just letters to mean something!) I gave it my best guess and passed lol! It was stressful and I over came it! I know I will never be using that section in my teaching but hey it might help someone!

I recently completed the TEFL Academy’s Level 3 Online Course and found it to be an exceptional learning experience. As someone with a background in BED Foundation Phase, I was pleasantly surprised to discover how much new and valuable information I gained. The course is incredibly informative and well-structured, providing insights and strategies that are both practical and engaging.

The interactive nature of the course kept me motivated and actively involved throughout. Additionally, the support from the tutors was outstanding; they were always available to assist with any questions or challenges. Overall, I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to deepen their understanding of teaching English as a foreign language.

I truly enjoyed my experience of doing my TEFL online Level three course. It was very engaging and fun but also really easy to do part time as someone that has a full time job. The staff were so helpful, kind and quick to respond to queries. I would recommend this course to anyone that would be a good fit or interested in teaching part-time. Even someone with no teaching degree that would like to start their adventure of becoming a part of other's English journey. I can’t wait to start as an online teacher!

What was the most nerve-racking moment and how did you overcome it?

Submitting my first assignment was very scary for me because I was not sure what to expect and it was my first assignment for this course, but it went really well and I got great feedback for my second assignment.

I've been working in the banking industry for 21 years and this is a new endeavor for me. I am pleased and grateful for the guidance received to complete my assignments. It was challenging for me as I'm new to this field of study. The content of the course was detailed and simple enough to understand. Now it's time for me to brighten up a class online with students who are eager to learn English. I would encourage thise out there who wants to get proper education for TEFL to study through TEFL Academy. They are very thorough.

I would change my habit to leave things for the last minute. As well as study 1 week and leave 1 one week of studying.

I thoroughly enjoyed the course content, as it was straightforward and easy to grasp. I appreciated the visual aspects of the course as well, as I often lose concentration when the text is just black and white with no illustrations. I was aware of the support that was available to me throughout the course, though I did not need to make use of it. The information on the TEFL Academy website is something I also felt to be helpful. For example the huge amount of information regarding which countries would be best to go teach abroad in, and why.

What was the most nerve-racking moment and how did you overcome it?

My first ESL tutoring lesson made me extremely anxious. I had never really taught before, and my social anxiety was at play due to the student being an adult (much older than myself). I was worried about potential language barriers and not being able to teach in a way that the student would understand. However, I referred back to the tips I'd learned along the way while completing the TEFL Course, and now I am teaching between 15-20 students per month with ease! :)

You are able to follow the program and also test your knowledge which was useful tool to remember and if you cannot you need to revise again.

It is easy to learn the information as it is not overwhelming and also we are able to ask any questions if anything is not understandable.

There were no deficiencies, I was able to achieve what I set out to do given the platform provided. The TEFL course provided a comprehensive introduction to teaching English as a foreign language. It covered essential topics like lesson planning, classroom management, and language assessment. The interactive modules and practical assignments were particularly valuable for gaining hands-on experience. Highly recommended for aspiring teachers! Make sure you complete the face to face lesson plan before completely before duplicating it and starting the online lesson plan!
