The Level 5 TEFL Course was excellent. The notes were easy to understand and engaging while the activities were inspiring. I enjoyed the work and the feedback I received after each activity.
I enjoyed the the activities because they were fun to plan and And engaging for me to do. As someone who wants to become a teacher it is an excellent course in introducing the the topic.
I do not understand why I have to use 500 words it it seems really dumb and makes me not want to write a review.
I would recommend the TEFL course but I did not do it over sees just at home.

What would you improve about this program?

Nothing. I think the Level 5 TEFL Course is very good but I did not do this overseas.

When approaching the idea to do a TEFL course I was anxious because I was unsure about the support I would receive by doing it online but The TEFL academy went over and beyond what expected with guidance and support. I knew what was expected of me through each module and I felt confident knowing I could contact them at any stage if need be and receive a prompt response. The units are easy to understand and not overwhelming with information. The constant quizzes and mini-tests kept me on track and allowed me to assess my own progress and knowledge. I would highly recommend this course.

What would you improve about this program?

There is nothing I would change about this program. It went over and beyond what I expected. I was anxious that there would be plenty of tests and due dates and little to no assistance. However, I was very wrong as I was able to go at my own pace and had plenty of time to complete my assignments. My assignments were not overwhelming as they were explained so thoroughly and my feedback was always positive but helpful. I was given plenty of information and ideas that I know I will use when I am in my own classroom in the future.

The Combined Level 5 TEFL Course presented by the TEFL Academy provides a comprehensive and engaging learning experience. This course is presented in an easy-to-follow manner and the platform is extremely user friendly. Even though the practical component is only two days in duration, I felt I gained invaluable experience. I researched various TEFL providers before signing -up and I can honestly say that I am happy that I chose the TEFL Academy After completing the course, I am confident in my future teaching abilities.

If you did this all over again, what's one thing you would change?

I would have put in more effort to complete the course sooner.

I signed up to the course not knowing what to expect because there were so many options. This course was so well organised and easy to get started.
I found it very easy as a native English speaker and would highly recommend. They clearly know what they are doing. 10/10
Usually online resources get boring but I found this course a pleasure to get through.
Also their support was exceptional. Whenever I needed assistance I opened a ticket and would get a reply really quickly.
the assignments were also really useful because they make you plan lessons, something you'll need to do when you start teaching

If you did this all over again, what's one thing you would change?

I would work on it more consistently. If i spent a bit of time everyday on the course, i wold've completed it far quicker. But i took unnecessary gaps throughout. Rather just knuckle down and work through it.

It was such great fun studying through The TEFL Academy. They offered great lessons and support and guidance throughout the endurance of the course. The 20- hour classroom training workshop was a great source of inspiration and guidance. The lessons were well constructed, easy to follow and the end of unit tests were great for revision and review. The student support were extremely helpful and responded to queries in a timely matter. Excited to get working. Thank you The TEFL Academy! Would definitely recommend.

The Combined Level 5 TEFL Course in South Africa was amazing! I learnt so much by doing this course and I am excited to see what the future holds. The course material was structured well and was very informative. Furthermore, the support from the staff was amazing and overall I enjoyed the course very much.

We were taught by a highly skilled individual during our practical weekend and everyone was so kind and polite! The TEFL Academy equips one with the necessary skills and tools needed to be a great EFL teacher.

The most funniest moment was during our practical weekend where we all worked together whilst teaching and planning our lessons. A highlight to this journey!

I've just completed my Combined Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hours) with The TEFL Academy and it was an extremely rewarding and enjoyable experience. What would you improve about this program?

Honestly, I think that the program is comprehensive and covers everything needed. I wouldn't change a thing and I commend The TEFL Academy on an excellent course.

I started this course very hesitantly. With a little teaching experience as a sports coach, I wasn't sure I wanted to pursue a career in teaching academics. Initially I thought it would be a good qualification to have in a CV. The course however, has opened my eyes to a wide range of possibilities and is awakening a passion inside me, to assist so many others who need to learn English to create opportunities for themselves. The TEFL Academy has proven to be a highly professional institution, with the course being so engaging and in depth without making the student feel overwhelmed and inept. The feedback provided after assignments is very appreciated as it helps further develop your knowledge and skills. I would recommend this course to anybody interested in pursuing this field.

What would you improve about this program?

I would have liked to have a bit more video material to help teach the practical aspect.

What is one piece of advice you'd give to someone going on your program?

The one piece of advice I would give is to plan ahead and to do your best. Worrying and stressing won't help you. The resources, as well as the markers, are there to assist and help you achieve your best. Planning ahead is beneficial as you do not want to get stuck with a pile of work and then have to ask for an extension. Just do your absolute best and you will reap the rewards.

What does an average day/week look like as a participant of this program?

The TEFL course spanned over a period of 6 months which gave me ample time to complete my course accordingly. Some units take more time than others to complete, but if you plan and stick to that plan, you will not have a problem. The TEFL site also makes it easy and exciting to learn so that you do not get bored or frustrated during your study session.

Going into your experience abroad, what was your biggest fear, and how did you overcome it? How did your views on the issue change?

I have no been abroad yet for TEFL teaching, but I am surely looking into it. I would love to travel to Asia, as I have been to India once and I absolutely loved it. I would like to visit Japan, South Korea, and China as a TEFL teacher and hopefully start my career there. I look forward to new experiences and challenges.

Any other tips for any prospective traveler?

India is a fantastic country, not quite like what I initially perceived it to be. The people are genuine and the country itself is a true wonder. My advice to anyone traveling there is to absorb as much as he/she/they can. India is rich with culture and history, full of diversity. Visiting places such as the Taj Mahal brings a totally different feeling, the atmosphere is spectacular. India is a beautiful country and so are its people.
