Teen Life in China Was So Much Fun

Going abroad in high school felt like a bold move, but it turned out to be the coolest decision. The classes were fun and interactive, and I got to try things like calligraphy, tai chi, and making dumplings. I lived with a kind host family who treated me like their own. I made friends from all over the world and really improved my Chinese. It was fun, safe, and unforgettable. I made friends fast, and practicing with locals made learning Chinese feel natural.
Thanks GAC 🙌

As a high school student

As a high school student, studying in Beijing opened my eyes to a whole new world. The classes were designed with teens in mind — interactive and practical — and the field trips were the highlight of my week. We didn’t just read about China’s history, we visited the Great Wall, ancient temples, and even took calligraphy classes. I made friends from Europe, Asia, and North America. It was my first time away from home, and I felt safe, supported, and inspired. This program shaped my future in a way that no classroom alone ever could.
