Chinese Language & Cultural Immersion Program for Teens – Go Abroad China

This program was a life-changing experience! As a teen, I was nervous about traveling so far from home, but Go Abroad China made everything smooth and comfortable from the start. The language classes were fun, interactive, and perfectly suited for our age group. I was amazed at how much Chinese I picked up in just a few weeks!

The cultural activities were equally exciting—we visited historic sites, learned traditional crafts, and even took part in a tea ceremony. I also made friends from around the world, which made the whole experience even more unforgettable.

The staff were incredibly supportive and made sure we felt safe and cared for throughout. If you’re a high school student looking to learn Chinese and experience China in a fun and meaningful way, I can’t recommend this program enough!

Explore China

As a teenager, I wanted to do something fun and different for my summer break. GoAbroadChina made it really easy and safe for someone my age to explore China. We had Chinese language classes in the morning and fun cultural activities in the afternoon. I learned to write Chinese characters, say simple phrases, and even make dumplings. We also tried traditional dancing, which was super fun. Our teacher was kind and helped us when we didn’t understand. I made new friends from other countries, and we all had a great time together. It was my first time being far from home, but I felt safe and happy the whole time. I took so many pictures and shared cool stories with my family. I really want to go back again next summer

Learning, Living, and Laughing in China

GoAbroadChina’s High School Language & Cultural Immersion program was one of the best choices I’ve ever made. Every day felt like an adventure—from learning Mandarin through fun, hands-on classes to making dumplings with my host family. Visiting the Great Wall and exploring local markets made me feel like I was truly living in the culture, not just observing it. My host family treated me like one of their own, and I still keep in touch with them. I made amazing friends from all over the world, and we shared so many unforgettable memories together. This program didn’t just help me improve my language skills—it helped me become more open, confident, and independent. I came home with a bigger world view and a heart full of stories. If you're thinking about joining, do it—you won’t regret a single moment.
