Remote Internships with Beyond Academy

The Beyond Academy Remote Internship Program has been a distinctive experience so far!

From the beginning, I have been motivated and assisted by recruiters to later being supported by their placement and remote team. Chloe, my placement manager, has been supporting me from the start of this journey by ensuring to schedule interviews and place me with the companies that matched my interests and goals. Indeed, she succeeded to place me in a company that went beyond my expectations in my professional and personal career growth!

Similarly, Bethany assured to make my remote experience engaging and purposeful through welcoming me with an online productivity & active learning course, giving me goal-setting activities, contacting me with a successful career coach, and best of all, always staying in touch for any feedback throughout my internship!

As a Business Intern, my host company has given me the opportunity to learn from different business areas such as marketing and finance, and apply all the business core knowledge I have learned so far in college!

Couldn't ask for a more meaningful remote internship experience. Extremely grateful to be able to build lasting connections with my host company and the Beyond Academy team!

I did a Human Resource Internship organised by Beyond Academy. This company is a start up business to business on a small scale. I have gained real work exposure and experience for the first time in any work setting. I am lifted and content with this Internship, also so grateful to Beyond Academy. I was hesitant to take this internship since I would also be studying a certificate program at the same time. However it taught me time management and discilpine. I am ever ao grateful!

My experience was unique because they fit the programme around me, so when I could start, the hours I could work and where I could work from. They were also very helpful on getting me ready for the interviews and have checked up on me continuously throughout the programme and making sure I am getting the experience I need. They are also very helpful on helping to try and find a job after I will have completed my internship. They have done this with career coaching which is extremely helpful with tips and how to find jobs and what I should do when I have found them.

I joined Beyond Academy to complete an internship in the industry of Journalism, Publishing, and media - it was a fantastic experience. Without a doubt Beyond Academy enabled me to have a fantastic internship that catered to what I really wanted to achieve in a work environment. This is something you would not get in a regular internship, and it would have been something I would have sorely missed had I not chosen to find an internship through this service. Moreover, the fact that I was able to do a remote programme demonstrates the flexibility of this service! I didn’t even have to really miss travel opportunities as I was regularly sent links to events taking place virtually that were culturally significant, and I was also able to attend some fantastic webinars to develop new skills in the workplace and beyond. Beyond Academy does it all!

My internship was extremely beneficial as I completed tasks that were important to my company, rather than tasks which are associated with internships (e.g. filing). This allowed me to see what is required to be a successful worker in my field. Furthermore, the help from Beyond Academy was fantastic and I never felt like I was on my own which enhanced my experience as I knew I could get help with anything quickly, from cover letters to general advice.
