Teaching Certificate

I had a great experience! I would wish that there were more detailed summaries of the last few modules cause they seemed quite short. Apart from that, I think the modules were well-structured and super easy to follow. I was done with the course in about a week which is great, I also preferred how you can time your studying for yourself. I would defo recommend this course, especially for travelers who need a certificate in a shorter time period. Hopefully, I will be able to find a teaching job soon to put my knowledge into action :)

120 hour TESOL certification

Awesome experience. The TESOL 120-hour certification for teaching English has been an incredibly rewarding experience. From the moment I began, I felt equipped with valuable tools and insights into the teaching process. The course material was comprehensive, covering essential aspects like lesson planning, classroom management, and understanding the different learning styles of students. It also provided a deep dive into the importance of cultural awareness in teaching, which I found incredibly important. The interactive components of the course, including practical assignments and real-world examples, helped reinforce the concepts and strategies taught. By the end, I felt not only more confident in my ability to teach but also inspired to create engaging, student-centered lessons. This certification has truly enhanced my teaching skills and opened doors to new opportunities in the field of education. Highly recommended!

A Transformative Journey

As an educator with a passion for teaching English, I was searching for a TESOL certification program that was affordable, flexible, and internationally recognized. The World TESOL Academy exceeded my expectations in every way, making it an easy choice for both aspiring and experienced teachers.

Accessible and Affordable Excellence

One of the biggest advantages of World TESOL Academy is its affordability. Many TESOL programs are prohibitively expensive, but this academy provides high-quality training at a fraction of the cost. It made professional development accessible to me without financial strain—something I deeply appreciate as an educator.

A Comprehensive Learning Experience

The course content was clear, structured, and practical. It covered essential teaching methodologies, lesson planning, and classroom management strategies. Despite having prior teaching experience, I gained new insights into student-centered learning and interactive techniques that have transformed my approach to teaching English.

The modules were designed to be self-paced, which allowed me to balance my studies with my other commitments. This flexibility is invaluable for teachers who are working or caring for families.

Real-World Application and Immediate Impact

After completing my certification, I felt more confident and prepared to teach English to speakers of other languages. The course provided practical strategies that I could immediately implement in my classroom. I also appreciated the focus on lesson adaptability, which helped me cater to diverse learners, including young students and adult professionals.

This certification has opened new opportunities for me. Whether you’re looking to teach online, work abroad, or advance in your current teaching career, World TESOL Academy equips you with the skills and credentials needed to succeed.

Why I Highly Recommend It

I wholeheartedly recommend World TESOL Academy to anyone looking for a credible, flexible, and affordable TESOL certification. It’s perfect for those starting their teaching journey, as well as experienced educators seeking professional development.

If you’re looking for a recognized TESOL certificate that provides practical knowledge, real-world teaching strategies, and global career opportunities, this is the best choice. My experience with World TESOL Academy has been nothing short of transformative, and I encourage others to take this step toward a rewarding teaching career.

What would you improve about this program?
My experience with World TESOL Academy was highly positive—it provided flexibility, affordability, and practical knowledge that helped me grow as an educator. However, one improvement that would make the course even more effective is the addition of downloadable presentations at the end of each topic.

Having key information summarized in a concise, visually structured format would greatly enhance retention. It would also serve as a quick reference guide for teachers to revisit essential concepts without having to scroll through the entire course. These presentations could include:
• Key takeaways from each lesson
• Example lesson plans or teaching techniques
• Visual diagrams explaining methodologies
• Quick tips for classroom implementation

This addition would not only make studying easier but also provide a valuable resource for teachers to use when preparing their own lessons. If World TESOL Academy implements this, it would make an already excellent course even more impactful for future educators.
Pros
  • Affordable & accessible
  • Flexible & self-paced
  • Practical content
Cons
  • Lack of interactive elements
  • Limited assessment variety
  • No downloadable summaries

You are not gonna regret

It was so flexible to finish the course because they offered four months' access to complete it and four attempts to finish the final test. If you're scared of tests or don’t like taking them, don’t worry—this is the best choice for you. The extra attempts and extended time really reduce the pressure and allow you to learn at your own pace. This supportive structure makes the course feel less stressful and more manageable, ensuring you can succeed without feeling overwhelmed. Plus, it helps build confidence as you progress through the material.

What was the most surprising thing you saw or did?
Easy access, and a very structural system it had.
Pros
  • Easy to access
  • Systematic
  • Tutor help
Cons
  • If they have example lesson plan book or something, it would be great.

Program review

I really enjoyed this program. It gave a lot of valuable insights and information for teaching English. I really appreciated the attention to detail to the course and giving us different teaching methods. It was much more thorough than I expected. I also really enjoyed the videos embedded throughout because it allowed for variation and made the content of the lessons much more digestible. It was nice also that the lessons were broken into multiple sections because it made it easy to want to finish because you could see how many more you had left to go.

What was your funniest moment?
Telling my friend I completed the course but saying I might retake the test because I didn’t score a one hundred and her response was “but you finished it no?” As a response I laughed and said “you’re right, I still passed so I guess I don’t need to.”
Pros
  • Fast
  • Reliable
  • Easy
Cons
  • Boring at times
  • Repetitive

Got My TESOL Cert!!!

I am not a teacher or a graduate of education. But I am a so much of willing to learn and I was inspired by those assistant teachers abroad which is why I challenged my self to have this course. I am so reluctant at first since i dont know where to it its enough to have a certificate to be hired abroad. However, upon going through the course, I'm surprised to know that what i learned in English way back college days have already been forgotten. This course has refreshed by English knowledge. It is not only applicable for teachers but also for all working individuals in offices or abroad. For mothers, it can also help since they are the teachers of their children before going to a school. As for me, i can atleast properly teach my niece and nephews with English language.

If you did this all over again, what's one thing you would change?
Taking up the course in a staggard manner. Since knowledge gained can be forgotten sometimes.
Pros
  • Online.
  • Course available anytime
  • No time limit for quizzes and exams
Cons
  • delivery of hardcopies of certificates is at high price
  • delivery days of the certificates (hard copies)are not indicated
  • lessons and samples are not downloadable for future references

Review of TESOL Course

This course was very straightforward and well-structured, making it easy to follow and understand. The content was presented clearly, with each module building logically on the previous ones, which made learning smooth and engaging. The explanations were concise, yet thorough enough to ensure a solid understanding of the subject matter. I particularly appreciated how the course was organized in a way that allowed for self-paced learning while still maintaining a sense of progression.

I was able to complete this course in about 45 days by dedicating approximately an hour each day to studying. This schedule worked well for me, as it provided enough time to absorb the material without feeling rushed. I believe this course is well-suited for individuals who have other commitments, such as work or school, but still want to improve their knowledge and skills at a manageable pace. The flexibility of the course was a major advantage, allowing me to fit my studies into my daily routine without significant disruption.

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?

An Excellent TEFL/TESOL Course – Highly Recommended!

I recently completed the TEFL/TESOL course, and I couldn't be more impressed with the experience. The course was incredibly comprehensive, covering all aspects of teaching English to non-native speakers, from grammar and pronunciation to classroom management and lesson planning. The content was well-structured, engaging, and easy to follow, with plenty of practical tips that I could apply right away.

While there were no live teachers, the resources provided were thorough and easy to follow, allowing me to feel confident in the material. I found the grammar explanations, classroom management tips, and lesson planning strategies especially helpful. The interactive activities and quizzes kept me engaged throughout, and I appreciated the clear and concise explanations.

I feel that the course has prepared me well for a career in teaching English, giving me the tools and knowledge I need to be successful in the classroom. I would recommend this course to anyone looking for an accessible and self-paced way to earn a TEFL/TESOL certification!

Well planned content

As a teacher with 3,5y experience in teaching English and as a person who has worked with foreign certified teachers, I expected that I would not receive any new information. However, I was surprised to find myself taking notes and realizing that I have never thought of certain things in the provided context. Some activities or steps in my classes were done without knowing the reason, but the course explained how important those steps are in supporting students' learning experiences. I have been introduced to some additional approaches that were not implemented in my classroom. I am happy that I decided to take the course, as it made me more confident and professional

What would you improve about this program?
Probably, I would recommend to add some more free resources for teachers (if possible). These could be also provided as a part of the program, so that we can practice the module using the resources on our lessons.
Pros
  • Good content, covers all necessary topics
  • Learning with ease
  • Module tests that keep u focused
Cons
  • Some of the modules (module -online teaching, section about devices) was not necessary, as it is quite obvious for me to have a computer and microphone for an online lesson

EXCELLENT PROGRAM

I have a University Bachelor's degree, and was wondering what I could get with just a Bachelor's degree, I applied for this certification and another certification through another organization and it is really good. Perfect fit. ESL TEACHING is perfect. 10 out of 10. I learned of WorldTesolAcademy through Contact North and WorkBC two organizations that help place people in Jobs or Careers, the program was fairly accurate and heavily tested which was amazing and the 80% pass rate is exceptional. Thank you.

What would you improve about this program?
I would improve about being an entertaining teacher. I like to entertain, but sometimes its over the top, I came to help people learn English both or either for Intrinsic or Extrinsic reasons and more. I like that in the old school when I was growing up in High School it was entertaining just solving the problems in Math and figuring out why we were there. If we did more valuable teachings I think people would be entertained. Its serious for me.
Pros
  • The support was really good.
  • The program was well tested.
  • The program did what it said.
Cons
  • Too entertained as a teacher
