6-week internship in Singapore

I had an amazing experience with AIP during my 6-week internship in Singapore. From the start, everything was super smooth, and I felt like I had a solid support system backing me up the entire time. AIP was always available to answer any questions I had, whether big or small, and their responsiveness made everything feel much easier to manage.

The best part of the experience was definitely the internship itself. I learned so much in such a short time, and the hands-on experience I gained was invaluable. I got the chance to work on real projects, collaborate with professionals, and really dive deep into my field. It was definitely an experience I wouldn’t have gotten anywhere else.

The only thing I would say could have been better was the accommodation.

Amazing experience

AIP facilitated my six-week internship in Seoul, South Korea, and it has been an incredible experience. My accommodation was conveniently located, surrounded by excellent restaurants and cafes. The team was extremely supportive before my arrival, arranging airport transfers and providing a SIM card, which made my transition seamless. I highly recommend their services!

Getting to work and live overseas, even for a short period of time is such a rewarding experience for any student. I would definitely recommend any student interested to go!

My internship program with AIP was a truly great experience. From the very beginning, everything went smoothly; the application process was simple and I felt supported at every stage. Finding my internship happened quickly which made it easier to plan everything well in advance. After arrival in my destination country, everything was equally uncomplicated. Any issues I had were quickly addressed and solved by AIP staff. During my internship, I gained invaluable experiences both in the professional field as well as my personal life. These experiences helped me grow as a person and will surely help me achieve my future career goals as well. I am eternally grateful for having had the privilege of attending this program <3

First Abroad Internship

I partnered with AIP through my university to undertake an architecture internship in South Korea. The team are great and even organised airport pickup and drop-off, as well as a group dinner in Korea.

The interview process was pushing close before the time of flight and the non refundable deposit were a little overwhelming but other than that the interview process was smooth and you are basically guaranteed an internship so you shouldn’t really stress at all.

They take great care into finding suitable host companies and accomodation to ensure you have a great experience :)

Highly recommend

Highly recommend AIP to anyone looking to experience another city within their professional internship. I’ve spent 6 weeks in Seoul, and the experience has been unforgettable, both personally and professionally. As a first time traveler, it was so convenient to have the staff assist me throughout the entire process, and it gave me peace of mind to know I had assistance available whenever I needed. It has been an invaluable professional experience and such a unique and valuable experience for my professional development.Highly recommend.

Incredible

Going abroad alone is challenging, and working there makes it even more difficult. So, having the confidence that someone has your back and is helping you with all the significant details to make your internship a better experience is invaluable.

Of course not everything is about work on the internship, so I got the opportunity to travel and meet new people, eat new dishes, and get to know an incredible culture

Thank you so much, Nisha, Kate, and Herlyn, for making this experience more manageable.

If you did this all over again, what's one thing you would change?
travel more around Thailand

Remote AIP program

As a gap year student who just completed high school, I recently completed a remote internship through the Asia Internship Program (AIP), and it was a great experience. My agent, Jeff, was incredibly supportive, helping me secure a placement that aligned with my interests and career goals. The process was easy and seamless from the application to the placement. Despite being remote, the internship offered valuable opportunities to develop skills that I know will prove useful in future endeavors. AIP’s personalized approach and excellent support make it an ideal choice for anyone seeking professional growth or an opportunity to explore your interests. Highly recommended!

AIP Singapore Program

This was an overall great experience both professionally and personally, I was able to work in a corporate finance role for an interesting fintech business in Singapore and network with other finance professionals in the country, while having enough time to see the sights and enjoy the city’s culture, nightlife, and food. AIP’s staff were friendly and helpful in organising the program. The accomodation was safe and the location was decent, but it wasn’t anything fancy. However, I was here with four other students from my university, which made it even more enjoyable. I’d recommend this program to other students looking to build their resume and explore a new country while they’re doing it.

A highly recommended experience

I can wholeheartedly say that the three months I spent in Thailand were some of the most exciting and enriching that I’ve ever had. To anybody on the fence about going - just do it. You will be placed with a company tailored towards your studies and interests, and the personal development you will gain from challenging yourself will prove invaluable both professionally and personally.

If you have the time, I recommend that you stay for 3 months. This will give you enough time to learn a lot, experience daily life in Bangkok and as well give you some time to travel around Thailand and even the neighbouring countries.
