My five-week internship in Taiwan was honestly an experience I’ll never forget. Not only did I learn a lot through hands-on work and real-world experience, but I also got to see sides of Taiwan that I definitely wouldn’t have discovered as a tourist. From everyday work culture to local routines and conversations, the internship gave me a behind-the-scenes look at life in Taiwan that made the experience feel truly special. I met so many inspiring people along the way (taiwan people are genuinely so warm and friendly) had plenty of opportunities to network, learn from professionals, and build meaningful connections that I know will be valuable in the future. On top of all that, I had a lot of fun — whether it was exploring the city after work, trying new food, going to concerts, exploring night clubs. Overall, this internship was the perfect mix of learning, growth, and enjoyment, and it left me with great memories, new skills, and a much deeper appreciation for Taiwan

Thanks to AIP, I did my first ever overseas internship over 6 weeks in Jakarta. I was initially really nervous, but the people at AIP (Nisha, Herlyn and Kate) really made sure that I was well prepared and were always a text or call away if I needed anything. All my documents were well taken care of and I managed to enjoy the month alone worry-free. I was matched with a reliable company that truly made my experience even better. I would definitely do this again and trust AIP to help me out with everything!

No regrets taking this leap of faith to join the AIP x NTU Taiwan program! I had a truly rewarding internship experience with meaningful, hands-on work exposure and supportive mentors who were always willing to guide and share their knowledge. The program was well-structured and made adapting to life and work overseas smooth and stress-free. Beyond professional growth, I also gained valuable cultural exposure, improved my independence, and built confidence navigating a new environment. Truly grateful to AIP for the opportunity to travel overseas and experience one of the most memorable and meaningful internships I've had so far. It was a smooth process during the internship-matching phase, and they are very responsive and reliable in helping you prepare for the trip and if you encounter any issues. I have thoroughly enjoyed myself and learnt a lot thanks to them. Would definitely recommend if you have the means to do so, being able to live and work independently abroad has been truly amazing :)

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience in the ASEAN Internship Programme, as the entire process was well-organised and thoughtfully managed. The team was consistently accommodating, responsive, and supportive, ensuring that queries and concerns were addressed promptly at every stage. Communication regarding the application and onboarding timeline was clear and timely, which made the experience smooth and reassuring. Their professionalism and efficiency greatly reduced uncertainty and allowed me to focus on preparing for the internship with confidence. Overall, the programme left a very positive impression and reflected a strong commitment to supporting interns effectively.

My winter internship in Taipei with AIP was great and an invaluable experience; I worked with a great host company and made lots of memories with all of my new friends. My favourite parts of the experience would be my friends and I exploring Taipei and other parts of Taiwan during our free time and hanging out together after work. I am grateful to be allocated to a great company with a supportive team and environment as well. Taiwan is also a great place for exploring both food and nature, highly recommend.

Very fun and enjoyable experience. I made new friends here. Tried out many food and explored other parts of Taipei. Learned a lot from the job also which aligns with what I was intending to learn. My supervisor at work was very understanding and helpful. I learned to be more independent living alone overseas for one month. One thing that AIP can improve is checking in on us more during our stay here and also help us to source better accommodations that align with our budget and our standards. Overall was a good experience

I had a great experience with this company during my internship. They found a good placement for me and provided comfortable accommodation in a convenient location. Everything was easy to access and well organized.

The cultural activities were one of my favorite parts. I was able to experience Korean culture in a fun and meaningful way. The food was delicious, the people were friendly, the weather was nice, and the public transportation made it very easy to get around.

Overall, my time in Korea was very positive. I really appreciate the support from the team, and I would happily recommend this company to anyone looking for an internship in Korea.

Even though my time was relatively short, I know I have made memories that will last a lifetime, I’m so grateful for this opportunity.
