Great Cultural Experience

My internship program was extremely smooth and well planned with the help of the AIP team Nisha, Roro, Kate, and Herlyn. They are helpful and responsive, and I had a great time in Taiwan thanks to their support and recommendations. They also arranged a welcome dinner for the students to meet which was very fun. During my internship, I got to attend events that the company organised and met people from all walks of life. I also experienced the authentic Taiwanese life for 5 weeks, getting to try all the delicious food and visit the beautiful mountains and heritage sites.

Bangkok Internship

Had a great time in Bangkok with this internship opportunity. I learned so much from my company and most importantly got to explore the city and experience the local lifestyle for a month. I got to experience what is like living like a local in Thailand, an experience I would otherwise not be able to have if not for this opportunity. Trying out local cuisines and attending new year celebrations was definitely a blast. I would highly recommend this opportunity for someone who wants to have an experience of what it is like to work overseas!

May guide you

I just want to say be confident and prepare yourself. In case no one helps you about any emergency situation, then just call yourself and say what you want to say to get a direct communication. By the way, AIP helped me find the right company. During the interview process, they tried to help me find a company as soon as possible, which was very nice. I mean when I have interview with the first one and I've got an answer so, I asked them about to follow up and they just arrange a new one so, which it made me happy!

What would you improve about this program?
Being nice and friendly to others.
When I'm in Australia, I'm introverted. If no one talks to me, then I won't talk to them. This internship in Singapore taught me to talk with others and gain a lot of real friendships.
Pros
  • Cheap transportation, meals
  • Nice People
  • Easy to go everywhere
Cons
  • High paid housing
  • Small space
