Wellington is located on the southern tip of the North Island and is New Zealand’s capital city. Wellington is the seat of New Zealand’s government and the headquarters of national organizations such as the New Zealand Stock Exchange, the Reserve Bank, the Museum of New Zealand (Te Papa), the Royal New Zealand Ballet, the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, and the National Opera.
Well known for a vibrant creative culture fueled by great food, wine, craft beer, coffee, art, events and festivals, Wellington is a cosmopolitan city with a lively personality. A recent survey by Deutsche Bank named Wellington the world’s most liveable city! A magnet for creative and innovative people, Wellington is also home to film director Peter Jackson’s Academy Award-winning Weta Workshop. Other leading industries include information technology, communication, manufacturing, and biotechnology. Wellington is a leading center for creative industries such as film and computer technologies.

Students at Victoria University of Wellington (VUW) will be able to take a wide variety of courses with Kiwis and other international students in one of New Zealand’s most comfortable and cosmopolitan cities. Located in the capital, VUW offers top-level academics with a strong focus on regional issues. VUW also offers several opportunities for personal exploration and professional development through innovative leadership certificate programs.

Students at Massey University will be able to take a wide variety of courses with Kiwis and other international students in one of New Zealand’s most comfortable and cosmopolitan cities. Located in the capital, Massey, Wellington is known as the “Creative Campus” with comprehensive offerings in the creative arts. The College of Business is both AACSB and AMBA accredited.
