Highly Recommend

Alistair is extremely knowledgeable and has all the resources to help you when applying for EPIK! I believe that the advice, feedback, and resources provided to me helped me be successful. Alistair via Skype allowed me to practice for my interview and gave me important information and tips on things to note for my EPIK interview.

Applying to EPIK can be challenging due to the many required documents, however, with Korean Horizons this process becomes a lot easier. They also provide continuous help, even after placement. I highly recommend using Korean Horizons!

5 stars

Alistair was extremely helpful in my application to EPIK. His assistance and advice was crucial in my being accepted, and he has always been prompt and accommodating with any questions. I highly recommend using his services for those seeking a TESOL position in Korea.
In particular, I would recommend Korean Horizons for anyone interested in applying to EPIK or regional public schools. Although I put in a late application, Alistair helped walk me through the process and documentation requirements, while providing interview practice and tips. I ended up getting to Korea on time. 5/5

Amazing Support

I would highly recommend applying to EPIK through Korean Horizons.
Alistair seamlessly guides you through the application process, knowing exactly when and how to apply for documents, ensuring they are all correct before submitting and keeping you informed.
The practice interview followed by advice was super, and definitely made me less stressed on the day!
Once we arrived in Korea, Alistair organised a comfy hotel for us (definitely required after 18+ hours on a plane) and we had the opportunity to meet with other applicants.

First Time Teacher

As a first time teacher, let alone first time teaching abroad, Korean Horizons made the application process very easy. Knowing that I had a free resource available to me during the application process eased a lot of my worries. They provided me with the information I needed, the documents I had to gather, and provided advice for both the application and interview. They also followed up throughout the whole process to see if I needed help with anything. I truly appreciate the work Korean Horizons do for EPIK applicants.

What a great experience

I am so proud to say that Korean Horizons know what they are doing. The service has been delightful and really came in handy for a person who was going to South Korea for the very first time. Korean Horizons also booked the applicants a place to sleep, which was really not an obligation but it was very helpful. I would recommend anyone to work with them for smooth transition in teaching in Korea. We all need an agency like KH when moving to a foreign country.

A Smooth Application Process

I started my application process with Korean Horizons around August and was able to get the job and a desired location for the Spring 2024 application process! Korean Horizons made the process smooth and was very accommodating in our transition to our new jobs! They set us up by laying out the paperwork that we need early so that we can get everything on our own in a reasonable amount of time. A great experience for those looking to teach though EPIK and would like guidance for the launch of a new life in Korea!

If you did this all over again, what's one thing you would change?
I completely bombed my practice interview but was able to turn it around for the real deal from the feedback with Korean Horizons!

Highly recommend!

Alistair was extremely supportive and helpful! He helps with both the written portion and the interview section. He also helps with documentation as well as providing important information for taxes, sim card, airport etc.

The biggest help for me personally was the interview, I was honestly stumped on a lot of questions but Alistair was a great guide. He also does a practice interview which was made me feel way more prepared.

If you are in any way worried/confused/lost on the application, he is there!

Teaching experience is not required. 98% of all new teachers have no prior teaching experience. To apply, you need to have a bachelor. You need to have the commitment to complete the TEFL by your start date and you can apply without one. Hope that this information is useful.

Hey Paul - we did some research and it looks like the salary is controlled by the government, and there are pay grades. Appreciate the question, surely others are wondering too
