Diversity & Inclusion 💙

As a female-led, local Thai family organization, we pride ourselves on a "family-first" culture that treats every participant with equal respect and warmth. Our community in Ban Lum is an inclusive environment where we provide personalized, on-ground support to ensure all participants feel safe and celebrated.
We operate with an open-door policy, welcoming all individuals into our family compound regardless of identity. Being female-owned and operated, we prioritize a safe, judgment-free space and provide local cultural guidance to ensure our LGBTQIA+ residents feel at home in Thailand.
Our residency is small and family-run, allowing us to offer flexible, individualized support for neurodivergent participants. We focus on clear communication and a supportive "village" environment to help everyone thrive in their teaching roles.
We assess accessibility on a case-by-case basis to ensure our local accommodations and school placements meet specific physical needs. While Thai infrastructure varies, our family team provides dedicated logistics and private transport to support participants with chronic conditions.

Impact 🌎

Our HQ is a family ecosystem featuring our own pesticide-free organic farm since 1945. We promote a "farm-to-table" lifestyle and encourage low-impact travel to ensure our programs benefit the Sukhothai environment and local community.
We focus on deep-rooted community impact through official partnerships with local schools and the Ministry of Education. By prioritizing local family-led management over corporate structures, we ensure that every residency supports the long-term educational growth of our heritage town.

From Beginning to End

Kids English Thailand provided support before I left SA, such as guidance about visas, whatto pack in my suitcase, a handy Pre-Departure Guide, this made me feel prepared once I landed in Bangkok.

KET then provideed support so that I could get to Sukhothai Province which is where their offices and training center are located. They provided accomodation, refreshments and lunch during the teacher training and the activities and excursion to a UNESCO World Heritage Site were really enjoyable and very insightful.

The teacher training was very useful and prepared me for starting my teaching journey in a Thai School and gave me an insight into Thai Culture and Thai Customs.

Once I finished my contract and returned home, I have been able to use Kids English Thailand as a reference for my futre job applications and they have always responded to every refrence request for me.

I am grateful for Kids English Thailand and their support from beginning to end.

Pros
  • Pre-Departure Support
  • Teacher Training Program
  • 24/7 support incase of emergencies

Highly recommend

Wrote coming to Thailand KET was very helpful and provided a lot of information. After arriving in Thailand and finishing my quarantine KET arranged for a bus transport to Sukhothai and a training period. It was very informative and a lot of fun! After that they drove me to my school and my accommodation.
They have been helping me with my documents, the school, transport and accommodation. There is no curriculum but KET has provided access to a drive with lesson plans to draw inspiration from. I did wish that I was staying in a bigger city because now I live in a farmers village and there is literally nothing to do here but luckily the big city is only a half hour drive away. I highly recommend this program but maybe be sure to ask for a school in a province city.

Pros
  • Nice people
  • Great learning opportunity
  • Very hot
Cons
  • Small village / boredom
  • Very very hot

Kids English Program

The company made life easy. They assisted with transportation from the airport and maintained communication throughout the whole process. They also offered accommodation during training which made life easy. You are able to rest and walk to the office. Traveling around can be difficult and going to the different offices for work permits etc can be scary. You get assisted with work permits, hospital visits and anything to ease my mind.

All in all I am truly grateful for their excellent work.

Kid's English Thailand - A Great Recruitment Agency

Leading up to my arrival in Thailand, Kid's English did an awesome job handling my visa application and placement at a school. They collected all the necessary documents and the visa application went very smoothly.

After arriving in Bangkok, they booked my bus ticket to their Headquarters in Sukhothai, checked up on me, and made sure I was okay every step of the way.

The training programme they provided was solid and has been very useful.

They continue to provide me with excellent support, whenever an issue arises I know they're just a message away.

I would highly recommend using the Kid's English Thailand agency if you are considering teaching in Thailand. They're an amazing team and the move here would undoubtedly have been more difficult without their assistance.

Pros
  • Friendly team
  • Excellent support

Everyone there' is so willing to help you and they want to get to know you. It's a great introduction to a new culture and country, they tell you the do's and dont's to be a part of the culture! They connect you with a lot of people who are working/already live in the province your going to so you never feel too alone or lost. Its a great touch as they will take you out to visit the temple ruins in Sukhothai and take you out for a classic Thai meal.

Top experience and the staff were brilliant!

  • Outstanding staff
  • Takes all your worries away
  • They will help you with anything and everything

Could not recommend this programme enough

KET have been with me and my partner every step of the way, even before the flight. They made the dreaded VISA process easy, and they were on hand with any issues with documentation. Any worries I had about the process of training to be a TEFL were taken care of and I could focus on the important stuff- teaching skills, and enjoying myself.

They are a company that cares about helping people develop their professional skillset and I would highly recommend this programme. Even if you don’t want to make teaching your career, challenging yourself with the support of these guys is the most fun you could have.

Pros
  • Support throughout entire placement
  • Demystified Thai culture and the process with many day-to-day tasks
  • My partner has a nut allergy and they went above and beyond in ensuring we wouldn’t have any issues with allergens during our time in Thailand
Cons
  • Whistle stop tour of class content
  • Thai lessons (whilst extremely enjoyable) had some unnecessary overlap in content
  • These are all I can think of, but I just wanted more!!
