I’m very excited to get my hard copy certificate, transcript, and referral letter. I can’t wait! The experience of studying was fun. Each module tackles what we need to know before we start teaching English. I will recommend this surely to my friends who would want to teach English as a Foreign Language. It would be nicer if customer service responds a bit quicker to assess my problem. But overall, the lesson contexts are very helpful. I am very happy with my experience with World Tesol Academy.

There might be included some more details on certain topics that in my opinion stands more important compared to the other topics covered on how-to teach. Also, I did feel from time to time that the course focused more so on teaching children whereas I would wish to be further informed on how to deal with adult learners as well (I happen to teach adults and teenagers). I loved the links which I have definitely made use of and shared with my students too:) Nonetheless, I found it to be beneficial and entertaining to complete each lesson.

Now traveling full-time, I was excited to be able to incorporate teaching English into my plans so I have a purpose and can help people as I move around. World TESOL Academy provided a great platform to obtain my certification while traveling. I now feel ready to begin teaching. The program was thorough and taught me step-by-step how to introduce the English language to different age groups and students wanting to learn for different reasons. It was great it also addressed cultural differences and how to adapt as you teach in different parts of the world.

In complete honesty, I would have to rate the program a 10 out of 10. It was genuinely helpful to me, not just as an English Teacher but also as an English language speaker. I have been able to understand the reasons for different grammatical structure.

Thank you so much for this course! I've been looking for an affordable and good online course to start out as an ESL teacher. My sibling has been teaching students online and in person for years, encouraging me to try teaching as a new career path. This course is very detailed and taught things I wasn't aware of. I also like that I was able to test myself with the quizzes at the end of each module (it helped me refresh my memory)
I don't have any teaching experience as yet but I hope to do so very soon.

It was a wonderful experience for me to get enrolled and updated my knowledge. I have completed a 120-hour TESOL/TEFL online course and obtained my certification.

The course is well-structured and appealing to read. The content is also very practical and full of concrete examples and exercises. I have been teaching English for years, but yet there were so many things I was able to learn newly from the course such as teaching skills and online class management.

I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to be a teacher and improve their teaching and class

The more intricate and harder to learn part was at the beginning, with a lot of grammar to learn, and memorize. I was glad it was first, as I could then carry that knowledge throughout the rest of the course, thus it became imprinted in my mind. The course contained every aspect of teaching English, no matter how trivial it may seem, and was clearly set out. The tests at the end of each module helped me learn the material, and the fact that I could reset the test and do it again was a great advantage.

Going into my experience teaching English as a foreign language overseas, my biggest fear was not being able to effectively connect with and engage my students due to language barriers and cultural differences. I worried that my limited experience in new cultural settings might make it challenging to communicate and build rapport.

I overcame this fear by investing time in learning about the local culture and customs, actively seeking feedback from students and colleagues, and adapting my teaching methods to better suit their needs. As I gained more experience and confidence, I realized that being flexible and open to learning from my students greatly enhanced my teaching effectiveness. My views on the issue evolved as I understood that building relationships and understanding local contexts are key to successful teaching abroad.
