I began the course two months ago and found it required significant reading and dedication to complete within the allocated timeframe. The quizzes were straightforward, reflecting the course content directly, which made them manageable. At no time I felt any pressure doing the final quiz. Only thing I found the end of module quizzes could have been a bit more challenging. I love the aid of the videos in the modules, it made the content even more relatable. Overall, it was an excellent certification course.

What would you improve about this program?

I would make the end of module quizzes a bit more challenging.

The course covers the basic topics of English teaching. As I have my experiences in language education, I feel it wraps up everything and inspires me with some new insights. Nice experience. It provides many activities that aim to teach every topic, providing me with more ideas on how I can engage with my students. I hope this certificate will add to my CV and give me more opportunities to teach in different countries. Overall, it is a nice experience to enroll in the course and observe some real classroom lessons.

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?

Take time to reading and explore.

I’m taking my first step toward entering the Teaching industry. My friend recommended this website and I tried it for my first certificate in a new career path. I hope my future career path will be exciting and fun with young learners. As I am new to the teaching field, this course helps me to learn how to guide students and valuable resources. And I hope I will find my class in the near future. Wish me luck. I passed the test on the first attempt. It really makes me feel good and I didn’t revise overall. One month of study time to finish the course.

The 120-hour TEFL/TESOL course provided a comprehensive overview of English language teaching methodologies and techniques. The curriculum was well structured and covered important topics such as grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and classroom management. The online format was convenient, allowing me to study at my own pace and fit the coursework into my busy schedule.

Although the course provided a solid foundation, I would have appreciated more hands-on exercises. In addition, the course materials could be updated to incorporate the latest trends in language teaching. Overall, the 120-hour TEFL/TESOL course was a valuable experience that gave me the necessary skills to teach English effectively.

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?

The only advice I can give is - Before you apply, make sure you understand the program's requirements, costs, and expectations. Read reviews from other travelers to get a sense of what the experience is like.

I must start off by saying I took over a year to complete this course - mostly because I was inconsistent. However, once I got focused and decided to complete the program it was completed within a month while pursing a full time job. This can attest to how simple and impactful the information is. The course is easy to understand, clear and concise. Tutors or administrative support are on-call and quick with assistance. I 100% would recommend this program to anyone, I also would be pursuing the TEOL and the TEYL courses in the future. The courses aside from being informative it is also very affordable. No complaints.

If you did this all over again, what's one thing you would change?

I would focus on the course sooner, I had it in mind that the course would be difficult to complete.

Since I was a kid, I was fascinated about mastering English. I was lucky to learn it at school which made me able to communicate with many people around the world due to my hobby (gaming). Going into my experience teaching English as a foreign language overseas, my biggest fear was not being able to effectively connect with and engage my students due to language barriers and cultural differences. I worried that my limited experience in new cultural settings might make it challenging to communicate and build rapport.

I overcame this fear by investing time in learning about the local culture and customs, actively seeking feedback from students and colleagues, and adapting my teaching methods to better suit their needs. As I gained more experience and confidence, I realized that being flexible and open to learning from my students greatly enhanced my teaching effectiveness. My views on the issue evolved as I understood that building relationships and understanding local contexts are key to successful teaching abroad.
