120 Hour Advanced TEFL Course with TEFL Nomad

I studied TESOL for a year in University and looking to refresh my skills and get accredited so I could teach abroad, I took this course. A lot of the material was similar to what I'd experienced in my University course, with some areas getting more attention, such as teaching young learners specifically, which is what I am looking to do when teaching abroad.

The course includes regular tests to solidify knowledge, and at the end of the course has a final assessment which will call back your experiences on previous tests.

I really enjoyed how easy this course was to access no matter where I was. The flexibility allowed me to complete lessons at my own pace, whether I was at home, traveling, or on the go. The content was not only informative but also engaging, with a great mix of mini podcasts and slideshows that helped reinforce key concepts in an interactive way. The course kept me motivated throughout, making learning both enjoyable and effective.

I loved the 120 hour TEFL course and learning more about teaching abroad and how to best teach students. It was very straight forward and taught in an engaging manner with both lectures and presentations and interactive study sessions. The tests were based on the information in the course and there were options to retake the test if needed/wanted. I am confident in my ability to teach abroad now after completing the TEFL course and cannot recommend it enough to anyone who is interested in teaching abroad!

I have finished my Master of Education, so the information given was often repetition for me, thus I did not really feel like I learned many new things per se, but given my past experiences and uni degrees that is to be expected. It did still fulfill its job of giving a basic overview of the many important aspects of teaching in a foreign country and some helpful materials and lots of interesting game/method ideas. Especially for people moving to live abroad & teaching for the first time, this course does hold many relevant aspects to learn.
