120 Hour Advanced TEFL Course with TEFL Nomad

So much content on the course which will only be beneficial when it comes to teaching. Some content was tricky (such as learning the different tenses and how they are formed) but it is all broken down so well which made it much easier to learn. Not only does the course highlight grammar and vocabulary, it also teaches you how to plan lessons and how to teach different age group/ abilities. As well as this, at the end of each module, there was a mini test which consolidated what you had just learnt, ensuring you actually understood the content.

This course was super informative and the podcasts were the highlight! Really engaging content. The topics were well planned out and instructive, making sure to keep the length of the modules to a reasonable amount so it never felt too intensive. The module on cultural contextualisation and learner preferences were particularly engaging and provided a very in depth insight into the particulars of how different cultures and preferences will effect your teaching abilities. Overall a very good course!

A brilliantly coherent, wholly relevant TEFL course - specifically designed by those teaching EFL! This is an all-you-need-to-know crash-course, which is both simple and detailed! Very easy visual layout and programme, in logical order, to teach you the fundamentals of becoming a TEFL teacher. Visually well set-out, straightforward course with gradual level increases. I especially found the quizzes at the end of every module to be very useful to check my understanding, and also note the great resource / material / activity recommendations. Having completed this course, I now feel ready to begin my journey with TFT with my TEFL qualification. Thank you!

Very informative course. I was able to revise some basic methods they may have seemed obvious at first, but the additional input along with appropriate examples related to the particular sub-modules really helped to bring out ideas and concepts related to teaching that I may not have considered at first. The quizzes allowed for me to be made aware of areas of study I am familiar with, and those I may need to work on a bit more. Overall an extremely rewarding experience that was insightful and essential to my deeper understanding of my expectations as a teacher.

The TEFL Nomad course is an enjoyable and very user-friendly course. If you are embarking on a career it covers everything you will or may need as a TEFL teacher. For example, the fundamentals of grammar, helping you understand your learners, and planning lessons are just some of the modules covered in the course. There are mini podcasts providing insights into life as a TEFL teacher which are both encouraging and informative. If you are considering your options, I would recommend it. I really enjoyed learning this course from The Fewer Things. It well written and structured in a way that makes it engaging, is easy to understand and the different topics are very clear. I feel confident in the knowledge it has equipped me with to move forwards and feel that it covered a huge amount which will give me good grounding in my new career. I want to be the best English teacher I can be, so although it is a chunky course - it is worth it as it covers all bases and will enable me to have the knowledge I need to be at my best and perform at my best in my new role.

Great course. The course was easy to access and use throughout. Each module was set out to ensure it was easy to read and follow. The podcasts with James were a helpful break from reading in between modules. The assessments at the end of each module were straight forward and easy to answer ensuring you have made effective notes. Overall, I would 100% recommend taking the 120 hour TEFL course as it is was very effective, will look good on your CV and will open doors to great future opportunities!!

The course was extremely detailed and provided a lot of information. As someone who has not had previous experience teaching English, the course went over even the most basic details that one would need to know to start teaching. The podcast aspect of the course provided an interesting change of pace from an experienced teacher's point of view.
Overall, if teaching is something that you genuinely have interest in, then this course is a good place to further your knowledge and become more confident that you will do well while teaching your future classes.
