The course in amazing, I could learn things that I am going to use for the rest of my life. It was easy, amusing and educative. a learned a lot about topics related to teaching that I did not know. For me the most important aspect was how to mantain my students motivated, I consider motivation so fundamental when we teach a new language, if we have motivated students then they can learn and use what the have learned for improving their lives, thus, this course is a great tool to create wonderful experiences within my classes.

At first I did not know what to expect, since I had never thought about teaching. However by tutoring my niece over past months I found out this is something I enjoy and gives me a great deal of satisfaction. This course provides you with everything you need to know as a teacher in their beginnings. Everything is very well explained and in case you don´t understand something you can reach out to online help and they will get back to you with explanation. Since I would like to teach online, now I will enroll 80 hours teaching online course. I cant wait to learn more. Thank you World Tesol Academy.

Firstly, the entire course content was designed to meet the requirements of an English teacher.
However, the absence of immediate interactions makes it a little tedious. In particular, all modules are written as opposed to video.On the other hand, it is controversial to know if each participant in the course is actually able to teach English or not. The designed quizzes as well as the final assessment are really helpful to validate the real progress of the course.
In short, the course is really useful for new teachers and teachers who would like to refresh their knowledge and keep on track.

I extremely appreciate how the modules and lessons are very practical and the attachment of examples and references too are useful. The flexibility of completion is also great, it allows you to self-pace and manage your time and revisions.

On the other hand, would love to see more contextualized / real life examples from multiple regions (i.e - Africa) and videos of students taught by graduates from the course (or at least in just certain parts).

Other than than that, I would totally recommend anyone to take it up!

Going into your experience abroad, what was your biggest fear, and how did you overcome it? How did your views on the issue change?

Going into my experience teaching English as a foreign language overseas, my biggest fear was not being able to effectively connect with and engage my students due to language barriers and cultural differences. I worried that my limited experience in new cultural settings might make it challenging to communicate and build rapport.

I overcame this fear by investing time in learning about the local culture and customs, actively seeking feedback from students and colleagues, and adapting my teaching methods to better suit their needs. As I gained more experience and confidence, I realized that being flexible and open to learning from my students greatly enhanced my teaching effectiveness. My views on the issue evolved as I understood that building relationships and understanding local contexts are key to successful teaching abroad.
