The program is 120-hours, but can be completed in less time at a reasonable, self-guided pace.

I have just successfully completed the 120-hour TESOL certificate course, and I am extremely satisfied with the overall learning experience. The course content is well-structured, comprehensive, and highly practical, covering all key areas of English language teaching, including grammar, lesson planning, classroom management, teaching methodologies, and skills for teaching speaking, listening, reading, and writing.

The materials are clear, easy to follow, and relevant to real ESL classrooms. The tasks and activities helped me deepen my understanding of effective teaching techniques and build confidence in planning and delivering lessons. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this course. The language used to present the material felt light, professional and encouraging. I moved through the elements more quickly than I expected and retained more than I expected in each segment. My only frustration was that a few of the quiz questions were mildly confusing. For instance, the question about what kind of space you need to teach online. The question referenced blank walls and in the study material it was suggested that you need blank walls behind you when you're teaching, but then talked about decorating. Other than just a couple of those kinds of scenarios, I thoroughly enjoyed this course. Thank you!

What would you improve about this program?

This review came to me as a link from my TESL certification - so in that context, I would only say that a couple of the questions in the quiz were confusing. Regarding overseas travel - I will comment on my extensive travel in Colombia. The hardest thing to get used to is their public bathrooms. You often have to pay to use them, pay for toilet paper, there often is no seat on the toilet, and sometimes there isn't even a sink to wash your hands in!

I had a wonderful time relearning grammar, and also got to see videos of how teachers teach students. It was definitely worth spending a month on this course.

I would definitely recommend this program to others. I love all the information given in this course, and I wish I could store all of it, which I did by writing it down in a book for future reference.

The online teaching topic was something new, I learnt so much about it, and the knowledge I have obtained is precious.
Finally, the knowledge of dealing with classes is the very reason i joined this program.

I would sometimes score less in a couple of quizzes, and not getting it right makes me feel funny at the moment.

This course is great for beginner teachers. However, I also gained some information and have some new thoughts to think about. Overall, this course is a great opportunity to get a new profession, to improve your skills and to recall the needed information. The navigation on the website was perfect, it was so easy to understand what you are required to do. Also, I found that quite useful, there are a lot of videos where the students can understand better the material through watching the video and observing the process in practise. Thank you so much for this course. I am looking forward to pass the next TESOL course.

What would you improve about this program?

If I had a chance to improve something, i would add some test where I have to do a lesson plan, for example. So the student's task would be to write a lesson plan for a spesific task for a mock class.

This is one of the best. The program is easy to follow and practical. I have learned a lot and the classroom samples are very educational. I would definitely recommend to my friends. I am confident that I can do online teaching and will definitely do well. This program has reminded me of my school English classes; this is good for all ages as long as you are committed on teaching English you will do well. This is also good as the additional training if you are already a graduate. Dealing with difficult students could be a challenge but the program has covered how to deal those situations.

What was your funniest moment?

The videos, not funny but I like the video of the restless children in the classroom. The teacher handled the situation pretty well and was able to discipline the students.

Going into my experience teaching English as a foreign language overseas, my biggest fear was not being able to effectively connect with and engage my students due to language barriers and cultural differences. I worried that my limited experience in new cultural settings might make it challenging to communicate and build rapport.

I overcame this fear by investing time in learning about the local culture and customs, actively seeking feedback from students and colleagues, and adapting my teaching methods to better suit their needs. As I gained more experience and confidence, I realized that being flexible and open to learning from my students greatly enhanced my teaching effectiveness. My views on the issue evolved as I understood that building relationships and understanding local contexts are key to successful teaching abroad.
