Wow! What a journey! Looking back to the day I started this course I had my own doubts and qualms about it; its worth and all, I'm already studying EEE so I hardly have any time to spare normally, but because of me loving to do this- teaching, I decided to jump into this, and thanks heavens I did! My general review of this course is it's totally worth the time, the staff were fantastic too. Thank everyone who has a hand in making this past weeks an unforgettable experience of me! If I have to say some Cons about it that would be that I feel like it could have been more content-heavy program; meaning that I could use more practical knowledge, but generally it was a nice course to attend.

This TESOL/TEFL program was a highly valuable and practical learning experience for me, especially as someone who is currently teaching English online. The content was well-structured and covered essential topics such as lesson planning, classroom management, teaching techniques, and online teaching strategies. I particularly appreciated how the course balanced theory with practical application, making it easier to understand how to implement the strategies in real teaching situations.

One of the highlights for me was learning about dynamic teaching approaches like Concept Checking Questions (CCQs), TPR, and modeling. These techniques helped me become more confident in checking student understanding and keeping lessons engaging. The module on teaching online was also very relevant, as it provided clear guidance on equipment, classroom setup, and how to maintain student motivation in a virtual environment.

The platform was user-friendly and easy to navigate, which made studying convenient. While the support was generally helpful, faster responses in some cases would make the experience even better.

Overall, I would highly recommend this program to aspiring and current ESL teachers. It is especially useful for those who want to teach online or improve their teaching techniques.

I decided to take this course as it is a prerequisite for an English teaching job in South Korea. I’ve only ever learnt languages through pattern/association so having the opportunity to break down and scrutinise the function of each word was pretty eye-opening. I would highly recommend this course to get the basics down. I also found that a lot of lesson planning reminded me of my own school days and how my teachers had prepared lessons for me to learn. Highly recommend this course to people of all ages but especially young students.

And all the tips on setting up a class room in-person or online. The tips on teaching English online are very helpful, and give me confidence that in the near future, I will hopefully be teaching my first class of students.

This is a well-structured course that goes through the basics of ESL teaching. Even though I have been teaching English for two decades now, I have found this to be a good refresher course. It does not only give a review of fundamental concepts and principles of English language and learning, but also offer practical tips for contextualizing classroom learning in an online or a face-to-face setting. I find it useful both for new and experienced teachers. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs a certification in ESL teaching.
