This program (120-hour TEFL/TESOL course) is a good class for you to take as it contains all details needed for teaching. Recaps, tips on how to teach and even easier ways for you to also learn. They also provide examples from another online extensions which provide more in-depth information of the topic. In this program, you are a student and a teacher to yourself at the same time. It would be better if you've already learned most of the topics in your high school years as it will help you learn fast in this program (and for you to avoid having a hard time). Overall, I recommend this program to all people who wants to teach online and earn a TEFL/TESOL Certificate.

All the lessons are cluttered in accordance of first-thing-to-learn to last-thing-to-learn (but isn't least important).

The course provided me with an overall knowledge base needed to teach English to others. As a person who has not taken an English course in many years, it was a refresher on the grammar rules. The course allowed me to learn some tips and tricks to use when I begin teaching students. I wish the program was a little more interactive. I am more of a hands-on person/interactive person, so it would have been nice to have more videos or other forms of interaction throughout the duration of the course.

I have successfully completed my 120-hour TESOL course, and I feel really excited about it. I enjoyed the course because it was fully engaging, all through. Each lesson is well-structured and fully detailed, yet not too long. I look forward to also completing the 80-hour TEOL course to further boost my resume.

While studying, you may find some parts to be quite technical but don't worry. With a little dedication and patience, you'd scale through. I would also recommend going through the course in an intensive manner. I mean immerse yourself into the course. That way, you wouldn't forget the lessons easily. However, if you're extremely busy, remember that you have access to the course for at least 4 months.

Not a con. Just a warning: It's hard work!

The content of the course is extremely useful for new teachers who are struggling with their students to be involved. The course is divided into 7 main modules. Each module covers a particular topic which is written in a simple way using very understandable language. At the end of each topic, there is an end-of-module quiz which is supposed to test what you've remembered throughout it. If you are a hard-working person it won't take you anything to pass the final exam as well. Undoubtedly, it's worth taking this course!

Hello world 🌎! I decided to take a different route in life. I wanted to utilize my experience and understanding of my native tongue, English. So here I am a newly certified teacher and I am happy, proud and excited to spread our powerful language to the world. Look out world! The course was thorough and comprehensive. It challenged me. So happy to have this opportunity 💓 and now my options have expanded! This is something that cannot be taken away. Education is a bedrock right? And I intend to utilize my certification to help and for outreach.

I was looking for a guide to walk me through becoming a teacher, so I decided to enroll in this course. To my surprise, I discovered that it includes everything I needed to start my teaching career (a step I was afraid to take with no prior training). Every detail of the course is useful, and engaging and to me, it's a great problem-solving.
I am happy I took this course and looking forward to starting my new professional journey as a teacher.
I highly recommend this course to anyone wishing to become an English teacher.

This TEFL/TESOL course was my very first online course to complete successfully. It took me about 4 months to complete the course and get my certificate. The course was fairly simple to do and understand, and the website was quite easy to navigate with no unnecessary pop-ups. I hope to get value out of this course. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone willing to improve their teaching skills in English as well as anyone who would like to teach English in different parts of the world.

It's been a long time since I've learnt about english and grammar rules as I have always just naturally been able to implement them. It's a lot to remember and wrap your head around though, I would have preferred more videos as I'm a more visual/auditory learner. I tend to read fast and I get tired quick so I will be reading and then realise I didn't actually absorb a lot of what was written (thanks ADHD). But overall the course has valuable content and covers all the bases to get your foot in the door for learning to teach :) I plan to travel to South America, mainly Brazil to teach eventually. This course made me feel more confident and gave me a better understanding of teaching. Thank you!

Going into your experience abroad, what was your biggest fear, and how did you overcome it? How did your views on the issue change?

Going into my experience teaching English as a foreign language overseas, my biggest fear was not being able to effectively connect with and engage my students due to language barriers and cultural differences. I worried that my limited experience in new cultural settings might make it challenging to communicate and build rapport.

I overcame this fear by investing time in learning about the local culture and customs, actively seeking feedback from students and colleagues, and adapting my teaching methods to better suit their needs. As I gained more experience and confidence, I realized that being flexible and open to learning from my students greatly enhanced my teaching effectiveness. My views on the issue evolved as I understood that building relationships and understanding local contexts are key to successful teaching abroad.
