The TEFL Nomad course is an enjoyable and very user-friendly course. If you are embarking on a career it covers everything you will or may need as a TEFL teacher. For example, the fundamentals of grammar, helping you understand your learners, and planning lessons are just some of the modules covered in the course. There are mini podcasts providing insights into life as a TEFL teacher which are both encouraging and informative. If you are considering your options, I would recommend it. I really enjoyed learning this course from The Fewer Things. It well written and structured in a way that makes it engaging, is easy to understand and the different topics are very clear. I feel confident in the knowledge it has equipped me with to move forwards and feel that it covered a huge amount which will give me good grounding in my new career. I want to be the best English teacher I can be, so although it is a chunky course - it is worth it as it covers all bases and will enable me to have the knowledge I need to be at my best and perform at my best in my new role.

Great course. The course was easy to access and use throughout. Each module was set out to ensure it was easy to read and follow. The podcasts with James were a helpful break from reading in between modules. The assessments at the end of each module were straight forward and easy to answer ensuring you have made effective notes. Overall, I would 100% recommend taking the 120 hour TEFL course as it is was very effective, will look good on your CV and will open doors to great future opportunities!!

The course was extremely detailed and provided a lot of information. As someone who has not had previous experience teaching English, the course went over even the most basic details that one would need to know to start teaching. The podcast aspect of the course provided an interesting change of pace from an experienced teacher's point of view.
Overall, if teaching is something that you genuinely have interest in, then this course is a good place to further your knowledge and become more confident that you will do well while teaching your future classes.

I have been working online as a English Tutor for some years. Having only just completed this course, I now feel more competent in all teaching aspects. The course has given me more confidence teaching grammar and also the option to also teach in the classroom in the future. I found the course engaging, easy to follow and most importantly relevant to my needs. Also a big thanks for giving me the time to complete it as I am juggling many tasks at this time. I would highly recommend this course to anyone thinking of doing a TEFL.

Also since you have access to the course after completion it is always good to refer back to it when teaching. Additionally it has insights on how to class manage which is vital to ensure the class runs smoothly. It also teaches how to keep students engaged and ensure they learn effectively while having fun which I believe it is essential. Bottom line this is a great course for someone wanting to teach a foreign language.

As the title states, there is not an aspect of this course that I could complain about. The user experience was incredibly smooth and guided by James, who also provides podcasts for extra support. The actual aesthetics of the course itself made for incredibly easy navigation and functionality. An important point to make is how simple, informative and beneficial the content was. Moreover, it was categorized brilliantly through an introduction then easing you into other topics. Could no recommend enough. 5/5.

It was a really good course and really helped me to expand my knowledge on how to become a good TEFL teacher. I feel much more confident in going into this profession now and it has made me a lot more excited to start. Specifically the parts which educated on how to plan and what is needed to know to become a TEFL teacher are what I found most vital as these were things I have never previously been made aware of, and would know if it were not for how well they were explained within the course. The videos in between modules also were really helpful and helped to give a breather from all the reading.
