120 Hour Advanced TEFL Course with TEFL Nomad

I found this course to be extremely helpful. I learned a lot of things that I have never even thought of as this is my first time doing a teaching course. I love the fact that there are useful links that I could also use to help me progress and learn after completing the course. I loved the lesson planning guide and tips given. Would definitely recommend this course to anyone interested in teaching with no teaching experience in the past. The course is written in a way where it is easy to follow.

I found the course brilliant from start till finish. I found the podcasts from James to be a great help in getting an insight into what a career in teaching abroad might be like and how to do the best I can in the classroom. The podcasts really helped to structure the course so it was engaging the whole time. The structure of the topics of the course also helped to keep me engaged. There were a lot of sections that included practical tips, such as lesson planning that made me feel confident going into the classroom.

The course materials were well-organised and included detailed explanations, examples, and practice exercises to help me understand the concepts and apply them to real-life teaching situations.

There was a great deal of external resources referenced in the course that were beneficial for my learning, and will be useful to refer back to in future teaching situations. The flexibility and convenience of the course made it easy for me to fit it into my busy schedule.

The course materials were easy to navigate, and it was easy for me to stay on track and monitor my progress.

Would recommend for first time/aspiring TEFL teachers like myself.

The TEFLNomad programme was both informative and well structured. It clearly broke down learning for me as a user and was simple to navigate. Everything is well organised and relevant, I think it would be beneficial for all users regardless of their educational background. As a qualified teacher the learning was an insightful refresher course as well as beneficial additional knowledge. I have thoroughly enjoyed completing this course in my own time outside of work. I would highly recommend this programme for those considering travelling and teaching while doing so!

Excellent program, had everything in it and I feel prepared to go teach! There was lots of good information and tips for managing a classroom. The course does a good job of covering all sorts of issues that may arise in the classroom. This course seems to be perfect for anyone getting into tefl and looking to teach English. I am sure that students will benefit from teaches who have taken this course. It also had lots of good vocab and grammatical structures and tips and tricks to teach these concepts

This was a great and very informative course that covers everything one would need to know if going into teaching English abroad for the first time. The Quizzes at the end of every unit helped to solidify my knowledge on the unit, and there were plenty of opportunities to take breaks and review previous units. There were also some very helpful links to great resources and the podcasts implemented into units gave a reprieve from the intense note making. The aspect where you could earn points and badges really gave motivation as well!!

Very good program, easy to follow and helpful overall. The progress tracker on the side made it easy to track progress and plan how much I wanted to do at a time. The material was laid out nicely and the breaks are a nice inclusion. The only thing I’d say to maybe improve would be letting you download the pages or pdfs so I can save for later as I kept having to snip them in case I wanted to print them out at a later date. I would definitely recommend to someone looking to complete their TEFL course, especially first time teachers like myself!

I learned so much in this course! From English grammar rules, to lesson plans, to learning how to control a classroom, this course has it all! I especially loved the lesson plan ideas, I think they will be very helpful in the future.
It was also very helpful that the course explained the different ways that different age or ability groups could be taught.
The short listening lessons with James were great! He gave very helpful, real-world examples. It was nice to hear from someone who has taught abroad before!
