Virtual Internships with Meiji Internships

I was so busy lately that I didn't have time to write a review earlier, but here I am! I did a virtual internship for 2 months (April and May) with a Japanese company and I would do it all over again if I had the chance! The industry of my internship was business development. I had opportunities to take part in virtual meetings with many Japanese companies which were incredibly enriching. The first call was quite intimidating because I wasn't used to it but my superior was also there and she helped me being comfortable by introducing me to our partners. By the end of my internship, I was able to do the meetings on my own when my superior was busy, and it felt so good to have real responsibilities and to do something that I knew was helpful to my team. I had many other tasks as prospecting new companies, writing emails, taking part in the marketing strategy brainstormings... I really loved this experience!

This internship was perfect, it was exactly the kind of host company that I asked Meiji Internships to find me. I worked with a trading company located in Singapore. Of course, as we cannot travel at the moment, I did a remote internship. The experience was still very immersive. My colleagues called me quite often to make sure that I understood everything and to help me find my place in the team. I actually found a good working rhythm quite easily and became comfortable with my work. I learned a lot thanks to the great opportunities that they gave me every single day. I am very satisfied with Meiji Internships' services and I am glad that I found this agency in the first place!

Applying with Meiji Internships was seriously the best idea I had! Their services are great and the virtual program is really interesting. I got an internship with a Vietnamese company which was an incredible experience. My vision of the international business is completely different now because I got real work experience and I learned about how things work in a real company. This virtual internship made me get out of my comfort zone. When I contacted Meiji Internships, I told them that I was opened to any country in Asia as long as I could learn about PR and Marketing in an English environment. My goal was to get new skills and to challenge myself, working with an international team. Meiji offered me to do my virtual internship with a Japanese company which was great because Japan is a country where I would love to go someday.
I was a bit nervous at the beginning because it was my first working experience ever, but everything went well and my co-workers always sent me encouraging messages on skype to boost my motivation! I gained profound knowledge on Japanese business workflows and processes; as well as first hand experience in the marketing world.

Overall I enjoyed my experience with Meiji Internships a lot. The virtual internship program is amazing! Now that everything had ended, I realize how lucky I was to have such an opportunity to work with Chinese people without having to travel half the planet. I wish it lasted a little longer because I still have so many things I want to learn from them! Luckily, I still can talk with my co-workers from China and they told me to contact them at any time. I can feel that my marketing skills are way better than before which is extremely rewarding. I also got a great understanding of Chinese culture thanks to our teamwork and our everyday communication.

This experience with a Korean company was life-changing, it doesn’t compare to anything! The company I worked with was a Korean beauty product seller and I dealt with the design of their website and some of their products. I was working with an entire team of designers who taught me how to work properly. I am passionate about Korean culture and I was really glad to learn about all those products in the meantime.
It was a fantastic opportunity to grow and become a skilled person while working with professionals. This virtual internship will probably remain the best work experience I have ever done. It’s amazing to see all the things you can create and learn with a computer and a microphone. I felt like I was literally working right beside my colleagues even though we were collaborating across different continents. I think that virtual internships are really worth it!

I didn't know that an internship could be done through the internet until I found out about virtual internships on Meiji's website! I wanted to make the most of my time and get a great working experience. This virtual internship was exactly what I needed because I could work in a Japanese company while staying in France. I studied IT at uni but I eager to explore and try new things, that's why I applied for a business development internship. I thought it would be a good asset to add to my CV in order to stand out from the other students. Let's talk about my virtual internship! It was a business development internship in a Taiwanese company. Doing such an internship is a really valuable chance that will allow you to get work experience without having too much responsibility. I was surrounded by professionals who were there to help me get confidence in my study field and get back to school with plenty of new resources. Studying is great, but putting all this knowledge into action is the best feeling ever and also the best way to improve your skills! Moreover, meeting with foreigners is a chance to open your mind and learn about a new culture. This is a crucial asset that will be useful in today's globalized society!
