My experience with the internship was great! I made a lot of great connections and had a great balance of time working, exploring, and socializing. This program really allows you to fall into a nice rhythm and the weeks go by quickly!

I met a lot of great people and had some great experiences, without a doubt. On my own time I left Seoul and explored the rest of the country a bit, joined language exchange events, and made some career connections I might have never made otherwise!

South Korea is a great country and Seoul is one of my favorite cities, so it was a pleasure!

My time in Seoul with Beyond Academy was absolutely incredible. It was truly a 10/10 experience! The staff were incredibly kind, supportive, and always available whenever I needed help. I felt like part of a big family – the community was amazing and made everything even more special.

The internship experience with the host company was also outstanding and truly unforgettable. I gained so much professionally and personally. Without a doubt, this was a life-changing experience that I would recommend to anyone!

In recent years, I have wanted to travel by myself, but still have a support system, and Beyond Academy provided that for me. The staff were always so friendly and responded quickly to any questions I had on my mind. Overall process from start to end was great. Everything was made clear, and the assistance was fantastic. My internship was amazing and turned out to be really enjoyable. I absolutely loved Seoul and exploring the city. Beyond always had some of the greatest events, and it was nice not to have to deal with booking main attractions events in Seoul that I would have had to book on my own.

The Beyond Academy staff and locals were absolutely amazing! They always responded to messages quickly and planned some amazing events for us all to do. They supplied some amazing support and helped us with whatever issues we were having. My only slight issue was that the company I was placed with didn’t fully meet my expectations, but that was not entirely Beyond Academy’s fault. All in all, I would definitely recommend this programme for anyone looking to get some work experience and travel and the same time or are looking to work abroad in the future.

Seoul is a perfect city to live in for a while because it gives you the opportunity to experience something completely different and full of new experiences. When I started my experience in Seoul with Beyond, from the very first moment, the group of coordinators was the best helping me in every possible way to make our experience as good as possible by organizing many interesting and fun activities.

Regarding the internship itself, I have to say that you have to be a bit specific when choosing what you want to work in and make sure that the company is the right one and that you think you will learn. In my case, I had to change companies because I wasn't working exactly what I wanted, but when I moved to the second company, my work experience improved considerably.

I had a lot of fun during my internship experience! The coordinators were very friendly and helpful throughout my time in Seoul! I think new people should know to be very specific in what they want from this program, including the industry and type of company they want to work at! But the social experience led me to meet a lot of friendly and cool people, and the community was always trying to give us different cultural experiences each Thurs/Sun! All in all, it was a fun experience and I enjoyed the company I interned at but being very adaptable will help you a lot for this program!

I joined the Seoul Internship and was really impressed by how well-organized and supportive the Seoul Community Support team was. They were easy to contact and created fun and interesting events for us to attend during the internship and helped us understand different cultural cues and nuances. They are a separate team from the internship placement team and are living and working in Seoul.

I loved Seoul, it was a great city to experience as someone who 'worked there' rather than as a tourist.

In terms of the internship placement team, I would recommend applicants are extremely clear about the placement experience they want to ensure you are placed on an internship you would actually find enjoyable. Otherwise, you may be placed on something you may not have expected that isn't really what you want to do!
