I was really happy with my experience at Beyond. When my initial internship didn't turn out the way I expected, I was able to work with the team at Beyond and my intern company to find a solution that satisfied everyone. I was happy that the Beyond staff worked so hard to make sure I was satisfied with my internship experience. In the end, I found not only a better company to continue my internship but also a permanent working position within that company after my internship ended. I was able to meet really cool people and had some great experiences through this program as well. I would recommend this program to anyone interested in trying an internship experience here in Seoul, as long as you come with the right mindset. Remember the Korean working environment is probably much different than what you are used to. So if you are a flexible type of person and think you can handle it, give it a try.

I have had one of the most amazing and memorable experiences here in Seoul with Beyond Academy. Not only do you get a fulfilling internship experience, but the events they’re organise and the community coordinators are the best bits!! They make you feel at home and the interns and coordinators become a little family!! I really recommend this experience, as it is an amazing way to grow as a person while also building an amazing opportunity to write on your CV. I would 100% consider doing another internship with Beyond!

I had the full support of the staff 24/7 and they gave me advice, helped me adjust, and even helped me practice my Korean. It was a great time spent in Seoul that made me not want to leave. I was given the tools necessary to get around and felt prepared to explore on my own. I got to meet people from around the world, make new Korean friends, try so many delicious foods, and practice my Korean.

During my internship in Seoul, I learned so much and had such a wonderful time. I was able to meet a lot of interesting people in my industry who I never would have had the chance to meet otherwise, so the networking chances were fantastic. The friendships I developed with the other interns were the icing on the cake, and it was an amazing experience getting to know so many people from different countries. The coordinators are really kind and helpful, and also fun! The weekly events organised for us were fantastic, and they made the whole experience that much more enjoyable and educational. The office environment was not only friendly, but also entertaining and very generous. This was my first trip to South Korea, so I wanted to make sure I could enter and stay in the country without any problems as I don't even speak the language. Beyond Academy ensured that I could do all of that prepared to answer any question I had. My internship was the best possible experience!

I had a great time exploring Seoul, especially with the help of Sooyeon, the local community advisor. She was very helpful when I encountered an emergency in Seoul. When it comes to group events and activities, she is always there to remind me and other interns of upcoming events so we don’t miss them. Other than that, the company I interned for was fun, but I don’t think it challenged me enough for my personal development. Overall, I had a great experience in Seoul and it is definitely a must for anyone looking to explore East Asian culture.

My internship with Beyond Academy was absolutely amazing! It was worth the investment for further my professional and cultural growth. Through this program, I was able to meet and work under talented individuals in my field. I gained a better understanding of the corporate world and am very excited to apply what I learnt in America. Additionally, the BA staff members are so loving and will ensure that you make the most of your time in Korea. The Seoul program made my first internship experience convenient, exciting and led me to meet some wonderful people. Coming to a foreign country for an internship is a daunting task, but with the help of everyone in Beyond Academy, especially the on-site coordinators, it was an easy transition into a new culture and city! The amount of passion the on-site coordinators have and the time they take to make sure every intern really experiences Seoul, is amazing to me. I wish I could have stayed longer!
