From the moment we got to Bangkok airport to the last day of the tour in Phuket we didn’t stop smiling! Our tour guides, Arthur and Whisky, were a massive part of how great this tour is- teaching us loads about culture and traditions and the history but along the way pointing out the best places to go and what to see during our free time! Which by the way you get plenty of! It also helps that they are 2 of the most funniest people I have ever met! Always kept us entertained and laughing - our faces I think we’re permanently fixed to smiles- it is the land of smiles after all!! Sometimes there are long parts of travelling when we are going from island to island and you just want to get into bed, but the views and experiences, and the friendships you make, all make those long days worth it! Arthur and Whisky work really hard to make sure the whole tour is having the best time they can- which I can probably vouch for my whole tour- we all had the best time ever!!! They became our friends during the tour- they weren’t there just to tell us what we were doing. Each island is quite different, but all have different things that are amazing! My favourite islands were koh phangan at bottle beach- we basically had the beach to ourselves and took over the DJ and just had a massive party on the beach- with all our new friends from the tour it was one of the best nights! I also loved PhiPhi- it was filled with loads of little market stalls to get all your souvenirs and had such a beautiful beach! We went to a pool party and did a pirate boat trip- seeing places like Maya Bay and watching the sunset- one of the best boat trips of the tour! There are quite a few! Koh Tao was great too- a massive pub crawl which you don’t want to miss and great for snorkelling and diving! Koh Sok National park is breathtaking- you can’t even describe how crazy the views are- staying in floating bungalows and being in the lake all day - you feel like you’re in a scene from Jurassic Park or Kong! This tour was definitely one of the best things I’ve chosen to do- and I would definitely recommend it- I will definitely be booking other Tru Travels tours!!!

I booked on to this trip as I found out last minute I would be traveling alone and felt the need that this would be benificial as a first time solo traveler. My tour guides were ARTHUR and WHISKEY, how amazing these two lads were. I felt safe at all times and felt they knew exactly what they were doing. They were not just tour guides but they became friends too! Honestly could not recommend this tour enough! There were places on the tour that I would never of traveled to myself so that was amazing but I also met some friends for life. I’m actually meeting another girl from the tour who is doing the 14 days to go island hopping with! Thanks lads you were amazing. It was an absolute pleasure and I wish you all the best for the future! Xxxxxx

I would highly recommend the 14 Day Northern Thailand Tour to all travellers of all ages- it is a great tour for solo travellers because you meet such a great group of people and never feel alone. The tour is cyber well organised and has many activities organised for you such as zip lining, visiting the elephant sanctuary, boat trips and cooking classes, all transportation and some meals are included in the tour which is great- the tour guides in particular are very friendly and welcoming form the start and are constantly making sure you are enjoying yourself and they put your safety first always and support you all the way through- as a solo traveller and I felt very safe and welcomed by my tour guide and I am booking onto her next tour taking place next month as I enjoyed the first one so much!

I had the most insightful, fun and life changing experience ever in this 10day Bali tour! Our tour guide was a ball of fun and it was really refreshing to see how in touch he is with his culture. Met lovely new people from all over the word and experienced such great memories. Swimming with a turtle was the highlight of my tour, oh and learning how to surf was absolutely amazing. Thank you so much to Trutravel for a wonderful itenary! :) *:), shout out to Spicey Spice!!! The Indonesian food was amazing! All activities were a ball of fun and of course the partying was epic. Most importantly Indonesian people are so friendly and warm, definitely something to complement, and its so amazing to see people who are true to their culture and religion, it is definitely something im taking back to South Africa.

Start with the good stuff then, saw alot and trip built up nicely, every day better than the previous day. Sights are truly amazing and its dificult to select what photos are better. Food was generally good and the places we ate at very good. The pizza in El Nido was insane... Really enjoyed the lagoons in Coron, really breathtaking. Phillipino people are amaxing as well, I have never seen so many happy kids on a trip.
Nacpan beach was also amazing and loved every minute of it. Warm but so worth it. So many positives....

BUT, you can do with the following improvements, more detailed intenary, better accomodation like working showers. The day out to see the lepar colony was not great. Other that that i can fault much, overall good value for money.

I loved this trip !! The boat trips were amazing and the guides were great. Accommodation was lovely especially in Manila and El Nido was good ! (Apart from the cold showers) the cast away experience was really good and the local people there were great hosts! I did unfortunately get ill during this time which wasn’t great timing being away from a western toilet and running water However Amer made me feel safe and in good company ! He was amazing when I was unwell and had to go to hospital. Luckily I was fine however if there was a more serious issue, and someone had to leave the island immediately, something should be in place in case this happens. Overall the Philippines was beautiful and I really enjoyed my trip! Would 100% recommend to my friends.

I had the best experience ever, Bee our tour guide was amazing!!! I could not recommend her enough, I really did not want to leave her. I will defiantly be booking the other Thailand tour when I know for sure she will be the guide. I can’t thank her enough for everything she did for us!!! My favourite things were seeing the elephants, the zip lines but most importantly was the jungle trekking and living With the tribe for the night I would have happily stayed with them for another night or 2! They loved us as we drank all their beer and wine and ate all of their food haha. I will 100% be completing the thailand adventures and for sure am going to be booking with the company again and who knows maybe complete all of the tours and make memories and friends to lasta. Lifetime. :-)

I arrived two days early, Edna met me and took me somewhere for a local breakfast. Later on she took myself and two other lads out for lunch and dinner. She showed us around despite it being her day off. I really appreciated this as I was feeling upset about saying goodbye to my last tour. The tour itself was amazing. We did so many activities. My favorites were sand dunes, Hai Van Pass, duck stop and Castaways. The first day of Castaways I didn't enjoye as the staff were rude but the second day our group really came together and made it enjoyable. Edna was such an amazing tour guide and I've never met anyone like her. She was amzing with our group as we were all very different people. They were few activities I couldn't take part in due to my sprained wrist but I had the best time. I'm honestly so grateful for TruTravels as it is my third tour and I've never been dissappointed. The tour guides do wonders for the company and really make it the best. Until next time, thank you very much!

I didn't know what to expect when I've booked this trip but I'm so happy that I've decided to book this trip. Everything was so well prepared like the pick up at the airport. Our Guide Bee picked me up and I felt so welcome from the first moment. I couldn't imagine a better guide then her, she was so funny and teached us a lot about Thailand. Also my whole group was perfect, I have met so many amazing people and we had such a good time together. All the activities we did were fun and I enjoyed every single one of it. My personal highlight are the waterfalls and the visit at the elephant sanctuary. I made memories for life and I can only recommend this trip. It's a lot of action but you never feel in a rush or too much entertained.

I Had an amazing time on this trip. It was well worth the money, never bored, met some great people and our leader (Bee) was super fun and nice, she made everyone feel very welcome. I will remember this trip for the rest of my life. It was the Best time, would highly recomend for people who love adventure, meeting new people, love to try new food, get to know and experience new culture, love trekking and are ok with having a good old cry at the end of the adventure with some new everlasting pals. I would rate this adventure an over 10/10, there isn’t much I would have changed about it. I have never been out of North America alone before and not once did I feel out of place or afraid of the excitement that was yet to come. Would love to do it again!
