This was such an amazing trip! We got to see all of the ‘go to’ sites with other really great days out. There were a lot of chances to go out in the evening, resulting in some very memorable nights out. It is such a good tour to choose if you’re worried about going away by yourself or even in a couple! Everyone is so friendly and our tour guide Arthur was such a legend and was so friendly. We’re all devastated he’s not coming with us to the south :( he made the trip 1000% more enjoyable & made us settle in so quickly! The elephants were definitely one of the best experiences as well as the cooking class. I would definitely recommend this tour in particular as the activities are so interesting; like the jungle trek! To begin with I was apprehensive about being so far away from home but all the people on the tour, our fantastic guide Arthur & the Thai community made me forget all about that! I can’t wait to finish my Total Thailand tour and then go to Vietnam to do another TruTravels tour

I have just finished the first 14 days of the northern Thailand part of the tour. I've had one of the best experiences on any holiday so far! The days are packed full of activities but I don't feel overwhelmed, we've still had plenty of time to relax. My favourite experiences were definitely the elephant sanctuary and the grand canyon inflatable water park, they were so fun and like nothing you would experience in the UK.

I came in the beginning of the rainy season but we have hardly seen any rain, the weather has been amazing! It's very hot and quite humid which is hard at first but after a couple of days I was used to it and felt comfortable. My tour was filled with a group of amazing people, but the tour guide we had for the first 14 days, Arthur, was definitely the highlight of the tour! He made everyone feel so comfortable and had fun with us, I think our group gelled so well because of him, nothing was ever too much to ask! If you get him as a tour guide you're lucky! The best guide tru travels has to offer, he is a credit to the company! I've had such a good experience and I couldn't recommend tru travels enough :)

I really enjoyed my experience with tru travels. I felt like the activities were all enjoyable and that the tour guide was amazing. I had Arthur as my tour guide and felt that he thoroughly understood the vibe of the group and was engaging with all the activities. I genuinely don’t think that the trip would have Been the same without him! The elephant sanctuary was the best activity in my opinion.

There were many interactive and fun activities. I don’t have any bad words to say about the group I have been a part of and especially none about the tour guide who has made my experience in Thailand extra special. In the future, I would definitely like to go on another trip away with tru travels and will be recommending the company to all of my friends!

Our tour guide Arthur has made this the most amazing experience of my life! His quirky attitude and huge levels of energy kept everyone upbeat even when we were exhausted! The tour is so well organised, going from wild nights out to relaxing with elephants and going from a day trekking through the jungle to dipping in hot springs. There is such a large mix of people which teaches you a lot too. The local cuisine you can get from the many street vendors and markets has all been delicious too. Arthur's knowledge of where to go and what to do has meant that we're never left with nothing to do! My favourite day has been our visit to the elephant sanctuary in Chiang Mai when we got to feed, bathe and play with the elephants. The trip definitely wouldn't have been the same without our amazing tour guide!

My experience with Tru Travels for the Total Thailand tour has been amazing! This experience has been made amazing by Arthur the tour guide. Arthur is full of enthusiasm and is very knowledgeable. Arthur knows how to have fun and shows us all of the best places to go out at night. Arthur is very motivating and makes everyone feel at ease and safe. I would definitely recommend this tour to other people. Arthur is a legend and I am disappointed that he was only able to do the first 14 days of northern Thailand with us. This tour is perfect for all types of individuals, whether it be solo travellers, groups and students. Everyone makes each other feel welcome and appreciated. The food over here is amazing and I have made the most amazing memories.

It was my first time going overseas and I thoroughly enjoyed my trip to Vietnam. The trip showcased some beautiful hidden gems of Vietnam; and there was a wide variety of activities to participate in. My tour guide (Edna Mendoza) played a huge part in making this trip a special one for me. She always ensured that we were safe along and comfortable throughout our trip. Her lively nature really kept our group entertained, and she always organized the best restaurants for us to eat at, as well as fun activities for us to do after our assigned activities for that day. She served as much more than a tour guide during this trip, and took good care of all of us.
I would highly recommend this trip to anyone, especially solo travelers. The group size was small (11 people) which allowed us all to get well acquainted with everyone in the group.

This was my first ever tour experience and I have loved every moment. I would definelty do something like this again. Everything was well organised and mostly to time. Rianna our tour guide messaged the group every day to remind us of the daily itinery which I liked. Everyone was made to feel included even though we were all so different. All the hotels were amazing and great quality and I loved having breakfast included which set us up for the day ahead. I loved how knowledgeable Rianna was. She has so many reccomendations such as restaurants and extra activities that only someone who knows the local environment could know about. The extra activities we did included; A 0200am volcano hike, tattoos and having our fortune read by a local spiritualist.

I'm actually sad that it's over. Even though I'm moving on travelling elsewhere I'll miss Vietnam, the people on my group, the people I met and wee pinky! Nothing was a problem to her. She always happy to help and couldn't be nicer. Those 17 days were some of the best weeks of my life with different activities in beautiful locations all the length of the country. Hard to pick out personal highlights for me really. All in all had a fantastic experience, great tour guide and touched lucky for a great group of people on the tour with me. It would probably suit all ages this group, no activity is too challenging or difficult. I'm waffling now, need to wrap this up I've 80 characters left. Honestly though, the most beautiful country and wonderful people. Do it.

This 17 day tour of Vietnam was amazing and I will never forget it. My tour guide Pinky was so funny, kind and organised. We started our tour with only 5 people and joined a larger group 1 week in. I remember asking Pinky ‘will we be joining another tour guide?’ And she told me ‘no it’s just me’ - and whether she had 5 guests to organise or 15 it made no difference - it was all equally as fun and well organised which I thought was really impressive. My highlights were the Mui ne sand dunes tour and the hai van pass. Tru travels does not offer ANY animal riding which was such a relief for me - really well done on this. I would love to see this tour include the abandoned water park in Hue which I was sad I missed and the water puppet show in Hanoi which was so unique I thought I couldn’t be missed! My only criticism was the hotel in Ho Chi Minh on our first night was really not very impressive and set a bad first impression. My favourite accommodation was Mui ne.

Just completed the 16 day Full Moon Island Hopper, we were lucky enough to have Arthur throughout our tour with the help of Pappsi at the beginning and pops at the end-all who are very passionate about showing us their country. What an adventure it was! Enjoyable, laughs a minute, help whenever needed. Organised and a lot of fun-highly recommended! From the personal pick up at the airport, catering for the group of 19 throughout, making sure everyone was ok, helping with onward journeys. It was great. Some of our plans had to change around national holidays and we were kept well informed so that we didn’t miss out on any activities! Hopefully I will get to comeback and see what northern Thailand has to offer! Thanks Arthur, Pappssi and Pops x
