The 4 week course provided by TEFL Heaven was a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to teach English as a foreign language here in Spain.

The training staff are extremely friendly, down to earth and offer as much support to you as they can before, during and even after the course! As somebody who has not been in full-time education or a classroom for nearly 10 years it took me a few days to get used to the pace and intensity of the course. However, the trainers and my fellow classmates were very supportive and understanding throughout, we all worked as a collective and had lots of fun!

The course itself is very well organised and planned out, classes are really fun and it is rare that you will find yourself disinterested at all. The materials are excellent and the teaching methodology really helps you understand the structure of the English language and how to teach others in the process. If you have any reservations or difficulties the trainers are always happy to offer advice and any additional support that you may need.

After you've graduated the training centre will assist you with finding a job that suits you, also helping out with any class or interview preparation you may need. Whilst you'll have access to all the materials in the library to get you started!

My life has gone from a boring office job to living in a great European capital and teaching really enthusiastic and friendly people my native language. The experience of learning a new culture and practicing Spanish is also a great experience, and it goes well with teaching English too and meeting new liked-minded people.

If you enjoy travelling, want to live & work abroad, learning new cultures & languages then this course is for you! :-)

Overall, doing my TEFL certification in Prague with the assistance of TEFL Heaven was a remarkably good decision. The instructors are of the highest quality, although I must say the workload is more difficult than I expected, and I earnestly believe my peers would concur. I possess an insatiable desire to both travel and teach, and TEFL Heaven allowed me the opportunity to quench these desires. Additionally, Prague is an incredibly pleasant city in which to live and work, and I would wholeheartedly recommend that anyone considering this program just do it. It' very much worth your time, and you are going to make a lot of pals along the way.

I came into this experience very excited but incredibly apprehensive. Moving to a new country and trusting a TEFL organisation to help you work through the legal aspects of a visa while completing a TEFL course and worrying about finding a job is not easy, however this program is amazing. The staff members were incredibly helpful and supportive through out the entire process. The also did not hesitate to answer any questions or provide students with any resources that they made need after the program. The staff members made me feel very at home in a foreign country while also providing a great TEFL education. I feel very prepared to teach on my own and began teaching private classes a week after receiving my certification.

Wow what an experience I had doing TEFL with Live TEFL. I had the best month ever, I thoroughly enjoyed the teaching practice and the staff were very supportive. I had plenty of classroom experience which is great for my CV and I was happy to observe others teach as this added to my own ideas about how to be a great TEFL teacher.

I made new friends whom I really enjoy spending time with. I had lots of fun with the TEFL course and also met some interesting students in Prague. Prague itself is very beautiful and a really nice place to complete a TEFL course. I recommend the beer as it is very cheap.

This TEFL course was something I was unsure about at for a while, I didn't know if it would be for me and was worried about how we would be taught. The first few days leading up to the course I was extremely nervous and apprehensive. However after the first day of the course I felt so much better! The teachers were lovely and made the learning process extremely fun with lots of laughs along the way. It probably sounds like a cliché but I have made some great friends in such a short space of time. My advice for anyone on the fence is to give it a go because the chances are it will be an experience that you love! I feel a lot more confident about teaching having completed the course and it is not as scary as I thought it would be! It is hard work but definitely worth it!

The course itself is very well thought out and delivered excellently by Raul who has over 15 years’ experience teaching English. The course includes 5 hours of observing lessons run by qualified teachers and then ten hours of teaching practice for yourself. There is a lot of support from the other teachers when it comes to putting together your own lesson plans.
The student coordinator, Alan, arranged my first interview for my second week and by the day before the course ended I secured employment in Puerto Vallarta which is where I wanted to stay. Most of the people on my course had secured employment before the course ended. Though it did seem that there was more support for those who wanted to stay in Mexico with those that wanted to work in a different country not feeling as supported.
Puerto Vallarta itself is a stunning place and extremely friendly. I felt very concerned that my lack of Spanish would be an issue but as it is such a tourist spot there are many that speak at least some English. There is lots to do in the area, from the beaches to tequila tasting, boat trips, snorkelling etc. though the prices for these are geared towards tourists.
Living costs are cheap relative to living in the UK with taco stands offering tacos from 10 pesos upwards. However, if you are in the busy tourist spots you will find that prices can be much higher unsurprisingly.
I will admit that I was apprehensive about coming to Mexico as you hear that it is very unsafe but I’ve found Puerto Vallarta to be very friendly and as long as you are sensible then you should be fine. Just use your common sense and don’t leave yourself vulnerable.

Going to the Czech Republic to train as a teacher is a daunting experience. However, the trainers and the school that you train at make it a very positive experience. The trainers are all equipped with lots of life experience, senses of humour and lots of patience. By learning in the classroom and then being exposed to at least 6 hours of teaching practice, you are able to watch your own growth and confidence as a teacher in only 4 weeks. The course is intense, however the trainers have so many ways of making it fun! The sharing of opinions is encouraged and the school organizes plenty of trips around the city, as well as beer outings, to make your whole experience enjoyable. I thoroughly recommend this programme to anyone wanting to experience the Czech Republic and have some exposure to teaching.

I chose this program due to how helpful the staff members that I spoke to were. They were quick to respond to any questions and provide me with information to the best of their abilities. However, looking back on the process of being recruited it was clear that they did not have the most accurate of information. There was a very obvious disconnect between the recruiters and the actual TEFL course in Ho Chi Minh City. As far as the course goes, the instructor connected very well with the students and was clearly an experienced educator. The thing that I'm truly thankful for and that I feel prepared me the most to be a teacher was the practicum. Just getting experience in a classroom was truly invaluable.

When deciding what program to choose for this journey of my life, I was highly drawn to the TEFL Heaven internship program. The main points that were important for me is that the company was reputable, they were supportive, and they guaranteed a job after the training. TEFL Heaven hits the ball out of the park on all of those points!

The three week training course on Koh Chang was an intensive crash course on becoming a teacher that concluded on going to an English Camp and teaching lessons to real kids. I can say that I was very shy about talking in front of groups before I joined onto this course. Now after two months of teaching that shyness has flown out the window. In the very beginning of the course they put you in the hot seat to perform under pressure, which is a quality that every teacher has to have - especially in a foreign country.

My favorite experiences during the training course were the day trips we did on the weekends with our big group. It was a nice chance to hang out and get to know the fellow TEFL trainees and the TEFL trainers. After a long week of training, some fun in the sun is much needed every weekend.

I don't think I'll ever be the same person after this because now the travel bug has bitten me. Before the TEFL course, I was working the standard 8 - 5pm office job and that wasn't the life that I wanted for myself. So, if you are contemplating doing bigger things then this may be the opportunity for you!

I was very skeptic about moving to Mexico much less paying money to a school I wasn't even sure existed. I remember calling them constantly to ask random questions to calm my paranoia lol. When I got there I was very impressed with their school set up and student apartments. I truly enjoyed the course and learnt so much. Lesson planning, classroom activities, classroom management and even how to come out of my shell. God knows that was my hardest part. But with a little tough love I was able to and it has made me the amazing teacher I am today. Not only did we learn about teaching English, but throughout the course I was shown time and time again how important the role of a teacher is and it made me feel even more fulfilled knowing I'm changing lives. I also enjoyed the teaching practice we had which changed each week allowing us variety in age group and level. I was given 3 interview options in the last week of the course and I accepted the Guadalajara post. Now that I've completed my contract, I made contact again for a new job in a new city and low and behold a few weeks later I had an interview which led me to my second job placement through this amazing TEFL program.
