I can honestly recommend this programme - and already have recommended it to the countless friends who have watched me post photos about my time here, and have asked how they can do the same!

I'll honestly say that the whole experience will cost you a fair bit of money, but you would need to save money to travel anyway - and at least with the job gaurantee, you know you will be making a salary down the line.

If anything I wished this course was longer than the 3 weeks, which is testament to how enjoyable it was and how valuable the classroom time/time with TEFL teachers was. This course really stands out because of the excellent contribution the TEFL tutors make - they are there to teach you, to inspire you, but they also offer emotional support, advice on living/working in Thailand and they make you feel safe and secure whilst away from home. I knew that if I had any problems I could ask the tutors for help, or also just drop TEFL Heaven a quick email and they'd be more than happy to help me.

The TEFL Heaven Spain program has been incredible. I have had the opportunity to travel and live in another amazing country, teach people of all ages a new language, and grow as an individual. Even though I have finished my TEFL, TEFL Heaven has still been amazingly helpful- checking in to make sure everything is going smoothly and asking about my work in Spain. I felt personally taken care of during the entire process- all of my questions were answered, no matter how crazy they were. I made lifelong friends from day one and have had fantastic experiences. I know I definitely made the right decision coming to Madrid with this program and I wouldn't take anything back! :)

In April 2017 I spent 3 weeks on the island of Koh Chang in Thailand working toward my 120-hour classroom based TEFL certification with a group of around 20 others. While researching for the best ways to get my TEFL certificate I looked at several other companies that promised they were the best way to complete the certification with online courses. I almost booked myself onto one of these courses and in hindsight I'm glad that I didn't.

The best thing about the TEFL Heaven course is that the tuition is classroom based and you also have an opportunity to experience classroom life in Thailand at an English camp for a few days during the course. Now that I'm a teacher in Thailand I realise that if I hadn't taken part in the TEFL Heaven course I wouldn't have been able to handle classroom life here. An online certification seems convenient and sure, it's probably less expensive but the benefits of the TEFL Heaven certification are more than worth the extra cost. It's definitely an investment that I was more than happy to pay.

If you are considering teaching in Thailand and are looking at more than a few courses to gain your certification, seriously consider TEFL Heaven. You won't regret it.

This course was exactly what I was looking for. It was straightforward and very thorough with information on how to teach, how to plan lessons, and it also prepared me for many of the possible problems that may arise within the classroom. Not only would you be taking a course that could open many opportunities for you, but you would be doing so on the beach! In a absolutely beautiful city. I strongly recommend this course if you are thinking about teaching English abroad. I started off with no experience and decided to take this course during my gap year. I am now teaching in Guadalajara and I couldn't be happier. Excited to see where I will go next, the possibilities are endless! This course is a really good way to gain your TEFL certification while adjusting to life in HCMC. I did my course in March. The accommodation is great - people were either in shared houses or really high standard hotels. The course instructors are great and everyone involved is super helpful. I got a job within two weeks, which I love. The course is a great way to meet people in a new country.

Before I came to Thailand, I had never been to Asia, or taught a single lesson in my life. I was rightly terrified! All I knew for sure was that I really wanted to give it a try - even if I didn't know the exact reason why.

TEFL Heaven provide the unique opportunity to complete 3 weeks of TEFL training in a paradise location in Thailand. This means not only do you learn how to become a good teacher, but you get to do it with an ocean view and a group of brilliantly unique, yet refreshingly like-minded people. There's a sense of authenticity in that you get to complete the training in the country you plan on working - particularly when it comes to the English Camp days. The opportunity to get in a classroom before the real work started was invaluable to my confidence in becoming a teacher.

The main benefits of training with TEFL Heaven was the chance to immerse myself into the culture before starting work, meeting a group of people all in the same position as me, the opportunity to learn some basic Thai, and the opportunity to explore the country I planned on living in for the next 6 months.

If you're thinking about teaching in Thailand, stop thinking and start doing. You can always go home, but you may not always have the opportunity to leave home and do this. I just finished my 6th week of teaching and I'm not looking back. This doesn't feel like work to me, it feels like a good life. Let TEFL Heaven help you take care of all the preliminary tricky stuff that comes with relocating to another country, and it's mostly smooth sailing from there. You won't regret it!

I was on the Koh Chang program in April 2017 and it was the best decision I've ever made. I was terrified at the thought of 1) moving to Asia and 2) teaching children that could not understand me. But, this program helped me gain confidence for both of those things. I woke up every day on a beach surrounded by new and amazing friends. I went to 'class' that felt more like hanging out and playing games. During this I learned how to actually teach English and gained a lot of practical information. But, aside from TEFL, I also gained a lot in terms of living in Thailand. I formed a group of friends that I continue to stay in contact with and have been my family out here. I've also learned invaluable culture and language tips that have made life so much easier. I can't thank TEFL Heaven enough for this experience and making my transition to Thailand so smooth. I would recommend them 100%.

I went through TEFL Heaven to complete the TEFL Course in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica, and it was nothing short of magical. The month-long course was equally as challenging as it was rewarding. My TEFL trainer was an excellent resource, and through her instruction helped me feel well prepared and confident to teach anywhere in the world. I was able to spend my free time and weekends exploring the beautiful nature and beaches of Costa Rica, while getting to know local "ticos" who are some of the kindest, most genuine people I've had the pleasure of meeting.

Completing this TEFL course was the first time I left my home country. I was nervous and had a ton of questions before I left. TEFL Heaven was prompt with their responses to my millions of questions and I felt very well taken care of both before and during my TEFL course. Highly recommend!

I arrived in Cusco feeling anxious, having spent so much time researching which course to take and having spent so much money on the course and traveling to Peru from the UK. I immediately felt at ease when I was met at the airport and taken straight to the office where I was greeted by the incredibly knowledgeable and friendly international team. I was then taken to my host family. The family made my Cusco TEFL experience really unforgettable, they cooked traditional Peruvian food for dinner every night, often provided us with a bowl of fresh Peruvian fruit for breakfast and even invited us to accompany them on trips sometimes at the weekend.

The TEFL training was really enjoyable. the other TEFL students became great friends and Claudia our TEFL trainer was heaps of fun, making the 4 weeks consistently engaging with her humour and energy. She offered so much support throughout our time and this support even continued after I left Cusco when I was looking for a TEFL job in Chile. I would recommend this course to anyone looking for a South American TEFL experience.

Travelling to Thailand to complete my TEFL training was a little overwhelming because it was my first time leaving my home country and I was doing it alone. However, I am happy to say that it was the best decision I have ever made. The TEFL Heaven program was amazing because it fully prepared me for teaching while also giving me an amazing support system from my fellow trainees. The program was very hands-on and the trainers were full of great advice and positive feedback. Even though we were training everyday for three weeks, it felt like we were on vacation since we were living on a paradise island. It was absolutely beautiful and I was sad to leave, but I am loving the town I'm living and teaching in now.
