When I first started the course I had no idea what I’d be in for. I thought that it would be an easy click away course but I found it to be a lot harder than expected on the pleasant side. This really informed me fully of the background and process of teaching English abroad. This course has enabled me to have the opportunity to work and live over seas. It is a great investment as the money you will make from working will be way more than what you’ve paid for the course. The helpline is efficient.

I began the level 5 course in my final year of high school. I finished it recently. I chose to take the course because I thought I could use the skills it taught during my gap year.

Although I'm unable to travel during this time because of the global pandemic, this was still a valuable learning experience. As the we adapt, so does the academic world. Many universities in South Africa are providing classes online. I'm really grateful for having taken this course online, as I had to develop a good work ethic and needed to learn to improve my time management. I think that, should a situation arise that requires universities to 'go online' again, I'll feel more confident about studying and working from home than I would've without the experience.

I think that the content provided and the ease that one can navigate the website with also made my first online learning experience more enjoyable.

During lockdown in the UK, I was able to focus my attention on the TEFL Course which is something I have wanted to do for a long time. I found the website to be clear and easy to navigate around. The content was also exceptional. I enjoyed working through the units and I found the tests to be a great way to solidify my knowledge.

The TEFL Level 5 online course was challenging, yet highly enjoyable. It has a perfect combination of theoretical and practical training and knowledge. The constant assessments compel you to concentrate and truly learn the work. The assignments have a practical aspect to them. They also require a lot of creativity and a lot of thought. The unit on English grammar proved especially challenging! The course is well designed and user friendly. I am now going to do the top-up course in 1:1 and online teaching. I can't wait to start my online teaching.

This program is an easy and efficient way to get a Tefl certificate! I loved the resources and activities. They were all very useful and I can’t wait to use some of the ideas I learned in my own classroom! Having online class made it very easy to do readings or lessons whenever I had free time! I really liked that each i it was divided into specific chapters. That made managing my work much easier and made me more efficient. The course is interesting and informative while also being fun! Every section gives new insights on teaching English that help you form an opinion on what kind of teacher you want to be. The website is easy to use and their support is unending. With all the useful information and links they provide, I suggest taking down as many notes as possible and doing each activity to give yourself as much practice as possible. Would definitely recommend this course for someone who cannot do the combined course.

I would advise anyone and everyone to do this course because it’s the doorway to experiencing so many new things. The content was spot on and the commentary on the assignments was so helpful towards bettering my marks. The tutors were very helpful and all the notes I had gone over, are the things I needed to complete my assignments, nothing was foreign at all. Also, I got enough time to rest and do my assignments as well. I didn’t feel pressured because there weren’t any deadlines like traditional schooling.

I enrolled in this course after an alumni recommended it to me and it exceeded my expectations! The platform is easy to use and understand and the content of the course is complete and interesting.
