I loved TEFL academy's course as it allowed insight into how to teach in a EFL classroom. I loved how the course was so easy to follow, and very well set up that allowed me to follow each lesson with ease and interest. The assignment were also extremely interesting, and allowed me to research further into the topics. The tutors are also extremely helpful as any problems with the course or parts you do not understand, the tutors will do their best to try and help. As a current teacher I would strongly recommend this course.

I found the assignments to be a bit challenging, but I think they should be challenging and they are worth it. The course was very informative and easy to learn from. The course is also encouraging to the person participating in it. The website is easy to navigate. The support and feedback from The TEFL Academy is awesome. Overall I found the course to be really great! I would highly recommend The TEFL Academy for anyone who is wanting to become a qualified TEFL teacher, and would either like to teach online or travel abroad!

I really enjoyed their backup service, trainers were knowledgeable and quick in response, and kind to answer all my questions. The online program was thorough as I was able to review my past knowledge and learn new methods and techniques of teaching with them. The way they returned my assignment and their feedback on it was positive and fair while addressing my weak points. They also provide a lot of tips and further reading resources for the future, I already bought a book from them regarding punctuation book and enjoy reading it. I would definitely recommend these people for training in English teaching online or abroad.

I was worried that the course would be boring and dry but it was not. I found it extremely useful and was interesting. There was a lot of depth in the information about teaching styles, planning, theory and so many tips as well as resources provided. I have a huge bank of resources and knowledge to draw on now and I'm very glad that I chose this course over some of the other less intensive ones. While it was interactive due to lots of quizzes and exercises, I think there could have been a little more live support from real instructors during the program, maybe through live lectures that are integrated into the main course material or something like this.

The whole experience was very valuable. The contents of the units are relevant and straightforward. They’re guided so you can go through really easily, at your own pace. For those who don’t have any experience in teaching, you’ll find the assignments completely useful as they provide real-life case studies. Also, the course provides model templates and further references where you can find helpful ideas and tips to create activities, design and plan lessons and so on. All in all, the level 5 course integrates theory and practice in an engaging way.

I'm very happy that I chose to do this course. I'm even happier that I completed it. I must admit, I found the first assignment (there are three in this course) incredibly overwhelming and I was ready to throw in the towel. I felt that there was an information overload and it all became too much. It's incredibly detailed. If you're thinking of doing this course, you have to really want it. It's not something you can do half-heartedly. The assignments are all a lot of work and demand a lot of your time. In saying this, however, I enjoyed the Units, the Interactive Activities and the Tests. I learned a lot and for this I am grateful. The tutor support was extremely prompt. I already have many years teaching experience as a Drama teacher, which is why I chose the online TEFL course.

My experience was unique in such a way that I got involved in mentoring the English language to some high school learners while I was still busy with my online TEFL course.
Furthermore, they are non-English speakers in my area from Somalia. With my experience with the TEFL classes, I also managed to assist them with English word pronunciation.
Future participants must enjoy taking the course because, in my personal experience, I have learned that English is like a bridge that connects people, nations, and countries.
