I really enjoyed the content of the course, it was very helpful and gave a lot of information. Would defiantly recommend it to other aspiring teachers. The assignments were challenging but markers did help where they could and gave assistance. I liked that I could do the course in my own time and work at my own pace as I am working full time as well as studying. I found myself taking a lot of notes and would recommend having PDF's on the content to print out or save on your computer for a neater and more accurate notes to study from and use in the future. Not very often, the website would be down which is inconvenient when you have set aside a day to make progress in your course, they did justify it by extending the course for that day or two but working full time, it was a lot harder to make up lost time.

Having worked in a state school for 17 years, I was ready for a change. The 168 hour online TEFL course was brilliant in guiding me through what is required to teach EFL students. The assignments were quite challenging but the guidelines were very detailed with step by step instructions on how to complete them and there was access to an online Tutor incase of any problems. The assignments really make you focus on what you have learnt and completing them successfully gives you the confidence to know that you can do it. Having completed the course I studied a top up 'Teaching Online' course which provided valuable information including the pit falls to look out for when starting teaching online. I now feel confident and ready to start my new career!

The course is very interesting, the topics are well thought out, designed and explained. It provides thorough knowledge on how to present language to different students. The course gathers information regarding a wide range of topics, provides useful materials and interesting ideas.

The three assignments you have to complete allow a person to transition from being freely able to use English to somebody who can actually teach it. You learn how to evaluate, treat correctly your students, understand and lead them on their journey.

The interactive activities have you practicing what you just learned as you go which solidifies your knowledge. In a way the course is structured the same way you should be teaching your students so it is very useful to observe the methods used.

I have recently completed the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs), through The TEFL Academy. This has been a wonderful experience! The website is extremely user- friendly, making it very was to navigate around and use. The work material is very easy to understand and study. I certainly learnt a lot from this course. It is a great way to jog your memory regarding the English language terms, grammar and tenses. The assignments are a bit tricky, but the fact that it challenged me, made me feel so proud once I passed each assignment and also showed me where my strengths and weaknesses lie. The facilitators give wonderful feed back.

I am very excited to see where this qualification takes me and feel a great sense of accomplishment on completing this course.

I am so excited. l finally did it. l conquered and let am ready to change young lives out there. l cannot wait to travel around the world. The Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) was totally worth it. A whole new world awaits me. The only regret l have is not doing it a bit earlier. The course was presented in an easy to follow structure. It did not seem overwhelming and scattered. Some of the assignments are a little difficult but they provide you with templates and resources that help guide you. The last assignment can be a little overwhelming and there is a lot of moving parts but if you apply your knowledge correctly then you can get through it. I didn't use any of the online assistance because i didn't need to but it is there for you. They have extensions in case you need to extend your enrollment which was really nice. The only problem I had with them was sometimes I would not get responses back within 24hrs when trying to re-enroll. But they made sure not to charge me when I went over the enrollment date. Great course and I learned a lot. I am glad the assignments were a little difficult because now i feel prepared.

The assignments are well designed and the course is easy to follow through when you're studying independently. Support team is responsive and online learning platform is user friendly. There's sufficient time for completing the course while you're juggling with other commitments or work. You can also request for extension if you need to. There are multiple trials for the graded part of work, and you receive plenty of content and resources for learning and completing the graded work to get your certificate. Overall; it was a good experience and the course offers relevant learning content.

I have yet to leave on my adventures but having done the course with TEFL Academy I feel confident in my abilities to be the best I can be. The course was well structured, balanced, had great tests and was loaded with extra reading and research activities. The support staff and staff and tutors are friendly, helpful and generally brilliant people. Their comments and constructive criticism made me feel confident and proud. I would recommend TEFL Academy to everyone that wants to teach and travel abroad.
