This TESOL/TEFL course offered exactly what I was looking for in terms of flexibility. I could study at my own pace without being tied to a rigid schedule. The modules covered important aspects of teaching and gave practical insights into online teaching. I especially enjoyed the videos showing teachers in real classrooms. Toward the end, I found some sections a bit too focused on technical details, such as recommended equipment, which I personally found less interesting. That said, the overall experience was positive, and I feel better prepared and more confident moving forward. While I haven’t yet seen a direct impact on my career, I’m excited about the opportunities this course could open in the future!

I was a bit sceptical at first but I am truly impressed how easy online learning is. A straight 10 out of 10. Therefore I encourage everybody who is thinking of getting a degree to do it here. Fast and engaging learning. Many videos to look at which are being analysed. You can always ask for help from the tutors. If you are thinking of going abroad and teach like I am, this is the basic certificate you need to get started. I am currently living in China and am already looking forward to giving mz first online teaching hours. Honestly can not wait to start.

I am so glad I finally decided to do this! It took me around 3 weeks to complete since I work full time, but I love that I could do this on my own time and in no rush. Pleasantly surprised that it wasn't as easy as I thought! Loved the videos with the teachers showcasing what was being taught in the lesson and found it really useful. I wanted to get this certificate since I live abroad and I think it will help me loads. I found this course incredibly enlightening. So happy I got my certificate!!

The World TESOL Academy ESL program is a life-changer for me. Enrolling in this ESL program and living in a third-world country has given me a great opportunity not only to make something better of myself but also to help students of all ages learn English so that they may navigate and excel when living in an English-speaking society. Taking this course also sharpened and refined my English skills while showing me the teaching techniques needed to ensure proper and productive teaching in a classroom or online. There are different techniques that can be used to teach effectively to students of different age ranges and levels of education so that they can grasp the material being taught more easily. This overall knowledge is a great asset when teaching different age ranges and levels of education.

I was motivated by the fact that I can really help out students, young and elderly, to fulfill their dreams or get one step closer to their dreams and aspirations. After all, the English language is one of the most used languages in the world, and most countries have adapted to speaking English for business, tourism, etc.

As mentioned before, living in a third-world country, the job opportunities are few and mainly tied to politics, and with teaching, I can really be satisfied in doing a job that makes my heart content because I'm giving back to my community and helping the students I teach to have a better chance in society and in life.

I took an interest in the ESL industry in my late college years. My course isn't the most relevant to ESL, soI was quite worried about my lack of knowledge and experience. I would say that I am a fluent English speaker, but I did experience many setbacks in my brief online ESL journey due to my inadequate explanations and teaching skills. I soon graduated from college and found myself incredibly intimidated by job hunting. I just wasn't confident.

It was this TESOL/TEFL course that helped me improve my skills and my confidence. I didn't just know English and grammar. I knew how to teach it. While taking the course, I even found a job! I used the learnings and teaching strategies from the course. I did my best to apply it in my classes and it really helped!

The course is amazing! I loved the content! Different formats, videos, information, visual examples, links to different sites. I really enjoyed the course! There were so many real life examples on how to built a class, different situations, kids that are not behaving during class, even psychology tricks on how to calm them down, what teacher should do and should not do in difficult situations that can occur during the class. Overall, I would recommend this course to everyone who wants to start his career as an English teacher.
