120 HR Tesol-Tefl Course

I was very pleased with the overall course content which definitely opened my eyes to better teaching / training / coaching techniques.

In the past I taught English to a large of essentially professional clients but also young adults. I intend to return to teaching but needed a more thorough approach to planning lessons, teaching techniques and classroom management.

This course provided everything I needed - I could take my time, go back and review chapters, and notably the on-line pages were easy to read and the videos worked and had good sound. The regular knowledge tests also helped to check that I had genuinely understood the content.

The final test was honestly relatively easy because the layout and content delivery made it easy to progressively assimilate. I can therefore very highly recommend this course.

What would you improve about this program?
A lot of the practical content is aimed at young children. I would have liked to have seen more adult class interactions.
Pros
  • Very thorough and comprehensive
  • Very readable, clear instructions
  • Ability to progres at one's own pace
Cons
  • Too much content aimed at teaching children
  • The basic price only allows access to the course for a limited amount of time (3 months I think)
  • The hard copy of the certificate costs more than the course !

Splendid

The course experience helped me reinforce my knowledge and learn new things. It also gave me the confidence to apply for jobs related to the topic. Videos showing real-life situations are incredibly helpful in better understanding many of the systems explained. The topics are well divided. The text is easy to understand, and the explanations are clear. In short, a worthwhile course. If you put in the time, you can do it at a good pace without getting too tired. Do not hesitate in take it. Thanks.

TESOL understanding

The TESOL program from World TESOL Academy was a very straightforward program. It has 175 lessons with quizzes along the way. It explained the purpose, lessons, and possible employment. The lessons were quick and easy to understand. You can see your progress and finish line as well. If you want to teach EAL students, review, tutor English, or want to teach online to foreign countries, I would recommend this course to get your TESOL certificate.

I am genuinely satisfied with the 120-Hour TEFL/TESOL course from World TESOL Academy. The course content was well-organized, comprehensive, and easy to navigate, making it ideal for both beginners and those looking to refresh their teaching knowledge. The flexibility of the program allowed me to study at my own pace, which was perfect for balancing my other personal and professional commitments.

What stood out to me most was how practical and applicable the material was. The course didn’t just cover teaching theory—it also offered real-world strategies, lesson planning tips, and insights into managing different learning environments. This has been incredibly helpful as I prepare to teach English online and volunteer with educational initiatives in different parts of the world.

Having worked and traveled across multiple countries, I understand the importance of cultural sensitivity and adaptability, and this course helped reinforce those values through its global approach to language teaching. I now feel more confident in my ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds, whether I’m teaching remotely or supporting local communities abroad.

Overall, this course has not only provided me with a recognized certification but also empowered me with the tools and mindset needed to teach effectively and with purpose. My Exprience about World TESOL Academy

Since I have always loved teaching, gaining experience, and learning in this field, I decided to obtain a TESOL certificate.

Considering my work conditions, the best option for me was an online yet reputable course. After thorough research, I found World TESOL Academy and, without a moment’s hesitation, enrolled in their 120-hour program.

The interesting part was that I could study during my free time, and whenever I needed help, I reached out to the support team. In just a few weeks, from the comfort of my own home and simply by using my spare time, I earned such a valuable and recognized certificate.

My experience with this course has been one of the sweetest learning experiences of my life.

I highly recommend this course to anyone who needs this certificate or passionately seeks daily self-improvement and wants to make the most of their unused time. Don’t hesitate for a moment—join the course and enjoy the journey!

This be easy

This whole program is/was super straightforward, non-pretentious, and easy. I never used the support aspect, so I have no idea how good it is, but everything was solid, the website is user friendly, and the course was relevant. They want you to pass, and all the tests are multiple choice without any trick questions.

It's also super cheap, so that was awesome as well. I found it super boring at times, but that's just the nature of the subject matter, and not necessarily anything to do with the program itself or how it built.

What would you improve about this program?
I dunno, its kinda easy, and i don't know if making it harder would be a good incentive for you guys.
Pros
  • Lots of relevant information
  • User friendly interface
  • Cheap
Cons
  • Too easy?

Great way to start!

This is a great course to start your journey as an English as a Second Language teacher, they give you the necessary tools and videos but they also include things you might have not considered necessary to teach, like taking into account the different types of students and their reasons for learning which would need you to change your game plan. The quizzes are very helpful to make sure you are truly learning this new skill and it is a great way to study for the big finale. I highly recommend it even if you already have teaching experience!

What would you improve about this program?
Maybe include more videos or recommendations on "what not to do"
Pros
  • Well divided course
  • Clear explanations
  • Helpful quizzes
Cons
  • Needs more videos
  • Some modules might be a bit too long

Successful

This was a simple and easy to follow program. The materials were presented in an easy to understand format and I was successful in passing the final exam on the first attempt. The review of parts of speech and how to present lessons was the most helpful for me. It's been a very long time since I had taken a language course of any kind and I was pleasantly surprised to see how easy it was for me to remember and apply the materials presented in this course. I would recommend this to other retirees looking for a way to find part time work.
