Excellent

It was such an excellent course. I have learned a lot through this experience.

I was learning about the ways to teach English and es pretty interesting how it works for my classes at this moment. I will continue studying most about this kind of courses because are being really useful for me and my environment around education. Students are feeling real changes in my classes and I feel so much confident.

Thanks a lot I will be in touch with you in case I need to amplify my knowledge about English.

A Practical and Insightful Teaching Course for Educators

As a Nigerian, I found this course both enlightening and relevant. The modules were well-structured and easy to follow, especially for those new to TEFL. It provided a solid foundation in classroom management, language skills, and lesson planning. However, the course could be improved by introducing more task-based learning and hands-on activities, which are crucial for practical understanding. Despite this, the course was a great experience overall. I highly recommend it to fellow African educators looking to enhance their teaching skills and gain international exposure.

What would you improve about this program?
While the course was insightful, I would improve it by integrating more task-based learning and hands-on activities. These practical components would better simulate real classroom scenarios, especially for those of us in African teaching environments where adaptability and creativity are key. Such improvements would make the learning experience even more impactful.
Pros
  • Culturally adaptable content that can fit various African classroom settings.
  • Clear explanations of teaching methodologies and strategies.
  • Flexible pacing, which made it easy to balance with other commitments.
Cons
  • Lack of practical, hands-on tasks to reinforce concepts.
  • Limited interactive elements or peer feedback.
  • Few localized examples relevant to African classrooms.

My honest experience

During my four-month online internship, I got to learn what it is like to do a good job with online students and whether I enjoyed it. During this apprenticeship, I learnt how to work on virtual platforms through applied learning strategies and skills with young learners and adult learners.

How my personal experience has educational value for sharing it with my classroom-based students, from no won and hope to overcome my challenges as an online English teacher working with adult learners. So, nothing is more important than giving our students the absolute best learning experience.

I'm glad enough to make a positive difference in my life, an early education joyful, engaging, and fun to learn, play, and grow with you.

Thank you.

Valuable TEFL/TESOL Certification, I really enjoyed it!

I really enjoyed this TEFL/TESOL course from start to finish. The lessons were clear, easy to follow, and perfect for someone who’s just starting out. I liked how I could study at my own pace and go back to review whenever I needed. The website was simple to use, and everything was well organized and explained step by step. The quizzes after each section were helpful and made it easier to remember the key points. I feel much more confident and prepared now to teach English, and I’m proud to have completed the course. I would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in teaching or traveling abroad.

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?
Take your time with the lessons and don’t rush. The course is easy to follow, but it’s important to really understand each part. Do the quizzes carefully—they help a lot. And if you're planning to teach or travel after, this course is a great first step. Stay focused, enjoy the process, and good luck!
Pros
  • Easy to understand lessons
  • Flexible—you can study at your own pace
  • Useful quizzes that help you remember the content
Cons
  • The review process at the end takes a bit too long
  • The website design could be more fun or modern
  • Some questions on the quizzes were a little confusing

A TESOL course that truly understands teachers.

As someone always on the lookout for meaningful professional development opportunities, enrolling in the TESOL course offered by World TESOL Academy turned out to be one of the most enriching decisions I’ve ever made in my teaching journey.

From the very beginning, the structure of the course was both intuitive and practical. It wasn’t just theory-heavy or jargon-laden. Instead, it was thoughtfully paced, well-sequenced and structured, and always connected to real classroom application. Each module was designed to build on what came before—without overwhelming you—allowing space for reflection, experimentation, and growth.

What truly stood out was the balance between foundational teaching principles and practical classroom strategies. I walked away with a sharper understanding of language acquisition, more confidence in scaffolding for different learner levels, and a toolkit of activities that I’ve already adapted for my current students. The course didn’t just tell me what to do—it showed me how and why.

What I appreciated most, though, was the sense of being guided rather than lectured. The course respected my background and experience while challenging me to stretch further. Whether you’re a new teacher or someone who’s been in the field for a while, this course has something valuable to offer.

To anyone considering upskilling their teaching practice, I highly recommend this TESOL course. It’s not just another certificate—it’s a thoughtfully designed program that can reshape how you approach your learners and your lessons.
Thank you, World TESOL Academy.

Better than I thought!

I’ve been a kindergarten teacher in Japan for almost 10 years. It's my first time getting a certificate, and I thought ā€˜Oh come on, what else can they teach me here’? ))) But to my surprise, I did discover a lot of useful information, and it did change my way of teaching. I took notes on each module, and it helped me to create new lesson plans for my current students as well. Completing this certification has not only enhanced my professional skills but also boosted my confidence. I’m looking forward to applying this knowledge in my current job. Thank you!

What was your funniest moment?
All my quizzes I’ve passed with almost high score until one topic which I have no idea I had problems with. I failed 4 times I think. It started out like any other test. I thought, ā€œHow hard could it be?ā€ Attempt#1: overconfident I answered everything and hit ā€œsubmitā€ā€¦ FAILED. what a surprise…one more time…FAILED…no way, really. I got furious. Wrote down all questions to my notebook. Checked. Submit. Passed with still one mistake.!!! Maybe mercury was in retrograde… )))
Pros
  • Easy to understand
  • Additional sources
Cons
  • Videos: too long

120 hr TESOL certificate course

It is well structured course. Really happy to have done this. I have taken this course in the hopes of getting a job and I hope this will help me land a job. I would really appreciate if the classes are little bit descriptive and not ending abruptly. It would also be great to include what all institutions or online teaching platforms would accept this certification. Could have had more video lessons. However, overall the course is very well made and kudos to the team for that. If anyone is actually reading this review, I would appreciate it if you could hire me.

What was the most unfamiliar thing you ate?
Something unfamilar I ate is a North Indian dish named Litti Chokha made of chickpeas grinded and fried brinjal. It tastes unique and I did not like it in the beginning but I developed a taste for it afterwards.
Pros
  • Well structured
  • Covered major topics
  • Tutors reply quickly
Cons
  • Every topic ends quickly
  • No extended explanation to grammar topics

TESOL academy with value

I'm thankful for World TESOL academy because they teach you a lot of things that can be useful in classroom setting. Their curriculum is complete and detailed. Also, their website is well built and user-friendly. You can learn at your own pace. Their services is really fast. I availed the hard copy of their certificate and got it on the same week. Because of this, I had an additional edge to teach english language to non-english speaker. I hope I will get a teaching job through TESOL. World TESOL academy is the best

What was the most surprising thing you saw or did?
I'm surprised even though I graduated from engineering, my career will turn into teaching.
