Amazing Learning Platform, Full of Growth and Transformation in Exam Preparation

I’d like to give my heartfelt praise to this wonderful learning platform. It is incredibly user-friendly, well-structured, and extremely convenient to use, offering a seamless experience from start to finish.

The exam itself is thoughtfully designed and goes far beyond a simple assessment. Every question ties closely to real-world English teaching practices, covering lesson planning, classroom management, student learning styles, and motivational strategies. As I worked through the test, I didn’t just recall what I’d learned—I systematically reviewed key concepts, connected scattered theories, and deepened my understanding of practical teaching skills.

I’ve gained so much more than a score; I feel real progress in my professional ability. This platform and its meaningful exam have reignited my passion for teaching and given me new confidence in my future career. I truly love this thoughtful, reliable learning experience.

What was your funniest moment?
# Funny Moment During the Exam
One funny moment that stuck with me happened while I was taking the test. I was going through the questions seriously, trying my best to recall all the teaching knowledge I had learned. Suddenly, I accidentally read a question twice and confused two similar options. I stared at the screen for a long time, hesitating and talking to myself quietly about which answer was correct.

It felt so silly how I overthought such a straightforward question for no reason. After calming down and rereading it carefully, I finally picked the right answer. It was such a small but funny little moment during the exam, making the whole testing process feel relaxed and not stressful at all.
Pros
  • houghtfully Designed, Practice-Oriented Questions
  • User-Friendly, Smooth Testing Experience
  • Clear Feedback That Reinforces Learning
Cons
  • Limited Question Variety & Repetitive Phrasing
  • No Option to Review Answers Mid-Exam
  • Minimal Contextual Explanations in Feedback

AWESOME EXPERIENCE

I have had many experiences of online studies but this was so unique. The website was easy to navigate, standby teachers, well developed content, easy to read and understand lessons, and above all the progress bar updating every single progress you make keeping me motivated and challenging myself to devote more time. Look, every minute I got to spare went to my studies and I was so involved like never before. Future students should get everything they need at their reach- coffee, water etc.

What was your funniest moment?
Well, one night when I stayed up late to learn and my wife was long waiting for me to come to bed. Though I requested her for 30 mins and ended up studying for 60 mins and I got apologize at the end for studying too much! haha!
Pros
  • Learning new things such as stative verb, planning methodologies like TTT, TBL, among others.
  • The program content is detail which covers every aspect of English designed for ESL classes.
  • The program's language of instruction was simple and easy to comprehend
Cons
  • I think the program should set up limited weekly study target. For example 2 modules weekly. This might help as someone might end up completing everything in 3 days which might raise ethical questions to challenge the standard of the program.
  • The course depth seems limited to general teaching skills.
  • There is also limited learning resources. Apart from the course contents and standby teachers, I think there should be libraries, interactive tools and reasrch database.

Learning English again as a native speaker

This lesson is incredibly valuable for travellers and students who aim to step into the field of language teaching. For anyone who hopes to engage in cross-cultural communication, overseas travel, or pursue a career as a language educator, this course offers down-to-earth guidance and practical teaching skills that can be applied in real-life situations. It is not merely a simple English learning class, but a professional introduction to the basics of language teaching, laying a solid foundation for learners’ future academic and career development.

The most interesting and rewarding part of the lesson is learning how to teach one’s native language to foreign learners, along with studying the fundamental rules and core grammar of English. Many people can use English fluently in daily life, yet they lack the ability to explain language knowledge in a clear, logical and easy-to-understand way. This lesson bridges that gap. It teaches us how to break down complex grammar points, organise teaching steps, and use simple expressions to help learners grasp key language rules effectively. Every learning session is eye-opening, allowing us to view English not only as a learner, but also as a future instructor.

Moreover, the whole learning experience is enjoyable and engaging, far from rigid textbook memorisation. The class atmosphere is relaxed, with interactive discussions, idea sharing and mini teaching practice activities. These activities make learning less stressful and more inspiring, allowing us to explore the charm of language teaching naturally. We are able to exchange thoughts with peers, reflect on different teaching methods, and gradually build up our own teaching thinking.

In addition, taking this lesson greatly helps consolidate and enrich our own language knowledge. As we learn how to teach others, we have to review, sort out and reflect on our existing English foundation. We identify our own weak points, correct vague language habits, and deepen our understanding of English rules. In this way, we improve both our teaching competence and personal language proficiency at the same time.

Overall, this is a meaningful and well-designed lesson. It benefits travel lovers and future language teachers alike, bringing us knowledge, skills and self-confidence in both English learning and language teaching.

Lesson plan and the flexibility

One of the things I appreciate most is the flexibility the institute offers. As a working student, I sometimes need to adjust my schedule, and they’ve been very accommodating with class timings and makeup sessions. The institute also provides options for both in-person and online lessons, which makes it much easier to stay consistent with learning even when life gets busy.

Overall, World TESOL Academy combines professional lesson planning with a flexible approach that really supports students’ individual needs. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve their English in a structured yet adaptable environment.

TEFL 120-Hour

The course was a truly interesting and valuable experience for me. It provided me with a lot of useful knowledge and practical ideas that have enriched my teaching career and helped me grow both professionally and personally. As someone who is still at the beginning of my journey in teaching, I found this course to be very beneficial because it gave me the opportunity to expand my understanding of the English language and improve my teaching methods. It was not only about learning theory, but also about applying knowledge in practical and meaningful ways.

One of the most important things I gained from this course was a deeper understanding of the four main language skills: speaking, listening, writing, and reading. Each skill was explained in a clear and organized way, which made it easier for me to understand how they are connected and how they can be taught effectively. Regarding speaking, I learned new strategies to help students communicate more confidently and naturally in English. I understood that speaking is not only about grammar and vocabulary, but also about fluency, pronunciation, and building confidence in real-life communication.

In terms of listening, the course showed me the importance of developing students’ listening skills through practice and exposure to authentic materials. I learned that listening is an essential skill because it helps learners improve their understanding, pronunciation, and communication abilities. Before taking this course, I did not fully realize how important listening activities are in language learning.

The writing section was also very useful because it taught me how to guide students in organizing their ideas, using correct grammar, and expressing themselves clearly. Writing can be challenging for many learners, so learning effective techniques for teaching writing was one of the most valuable parts of the course for me.

Moreover, the course helped me understand teaching in general from a broader perspective. I learned that teaching is not simply delivering information, but it is about motivating students, understanding their needs, and creating an engaging learning environment. The course introduced me to modern teaching methods and classroom management strategies that I believe will make me a better teacher in the future.

Overall, this course was an excellent learning experience that added significant value to my modest teaching career. It increased my confidence, improved my knowledge of English, and gave me practical tools to use in my classroom. I believe that what I learned from this course will have a positive impact on my future as a teacher, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have taken it. It was a meaningful step in my professional development and a strong foundation for my future growth in teaching.
