It was a very clear course to start teaching for people that haven't studied education and need the basics. It is a very useful certification specially if you are travelling around the world and need a remote job. The contents were interesting and well organised according to the importance, the page was easy to navigate and the test at the end of every unit were concise and clear. The examples and several videos showed through the course were interesting and helpful. I studied education and this helped me to refresh some of the content I studied years ago.

Overall the course was amazing and so helpful but I do wish the couse went into more detail on exactly how to structure lesson plans.
I also wish there where more templates added within the course. But what I loved the most was how short and bite sized the course was. I didn't feel so overwhelmed. Integration of images and flashcards was really helpful in keeping my attention throughout the course. Lastly, the frequent use of quizzes throughout the course helped to keep me on my toose and help me see exactly what I needed to work on.

Not a whole lot of auditory guidance in the early modules

I had to reevaluate my whole teaching paradigm. I thought I was a good teacher, but I learnt new techniques, tricks, and a fresh outlook towards teaching. This program provided me with more structure and increased awareness of how to encapsulate my teaching efforts within a time frame, an objective frame, a context frame, and a linking chain that connects past lectures to future ones. All in all, I am happy to have done my due diligence and give it time to let things sink in. To use the famous AI term, I will be taking the things I learnt here and applying them in other spheres of my life. I will do transfer learning.

What was the most nerve-racking moment and how did you overcome it?

For the first time, I built a systematic understanding of my long-time dread of verb tenses. I was always afraid of tenses and passed by them. This time I killed an inner demon.

some of the videos were long. modern wireless era has shortened everyone's not attention span but tolerance span.
this is more of a suggestion: having a 1-2 minute for every activity suggested would be helpful
In your marketing material you could tell students they do not have to prepare anything before buying the course. You could tell people that this is a training course where you will first train them. I spent time preparing before buying the course.

I am mind blown by how well crafted this program was. Initially I was quite unsure if this is what I am looking for. Is it worth the pennies I’m spending on (though it’s priced at a very affordable range).

It was extremely engaging and the support from the back end was precious and timed. And the quizzes towards the end of every module kept me motivated throughout to finish modules ASAP but productively and effectively. Not rushed.
The final exam was thrilling. I was bit nervous but I was actually able to get through a 100% pass mark and the other modules too above 90%s.

I am immensely grateful to have been join this and I would recommend this to anyone who would wanna gain an accredited TESOL/TEFL certification.

Aside from teaching, I enjoy traveling and am planning a trip to Europe this summer, which I hope will enhance my cultural awareness and provide new insights on my teaching. Overall, I feel better equipped and motivated to assist my pupils excel in English. I definitely suggest this TESOL course to anyone wishing to improve their teaching skills through a combination of academic knowledge and hands-on experience.

The most surprising and awesome part for me was definitely the classes and the teachers. They were amazing, really detailed and thorough, way beyond what I expected. They didn’t just teach the basics; they prepared me for both the best and the worst situations I might face as a teacher. That kind of support and preparation blew me away!!!!!

When I enrolled for this course, I was unsure whether it was a trap, but I realized no after I got access. I completed this within 4 months, and with my schedules, it was hard for me to connect with live physical or online classes, but this was beyond imagination. It is more convenient and effective.

But I hope that it has a method to read the lessons or a tutor teaching those as a pre-prepared video, but with the price, this is great.
Overall, I'm so happy for completing and for having a TESOL certificate.

I would add more liveliness, not just pages of text.

Going into my experience teaching English as a foreign language overseas, my biggest fear was not being able to effectively connect with and engage my students due to language barriers and cultural differences. I worried that my limited experience in new cultural settings might make it challenging to communicate and build rapport.

I overcame this fear by investing time in learning about the local culture and customs, actively seeking feedback from students and colleagues, and adapting my teaching methods to better suit their needs. As I gained more experience and confidence, I realized that being flexible and open to learning from my students greatly enhanced my teaching effectiveness.
