Accredited 120-hour TESOL/TEFL Course - World TESOL Academy

I had a great time doing the World TESOL course, it took me a couple of days to get through the coursework, but I was happy to have an excuse to go to the coffee shop for a few hours each day!

Personally, I found a nice amount of value in this programme not just from the course itself, but also with the additional sources they provided of games and links to further websites were a nice bonus. There were a few unexpected teaching skills that I had never thought about in my previous jobs as a teacher, like sentence structures and word/sentence stresses, now I feel more confident in being able to provide a better service to my students after doing this course.

I completed my Bachelor's Degree in English and Psychology as well as a Post Graduate Certificate in Education in Senior Phase and Further Education and Training, majoring in English and Life Orientation and I can safely say that I learnt more about teaching in this TEFL course than I did in my years of professional studies. I truly enjoyed this course and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to go into the teaching field. I was very eager to begin and complete this course, therefore I completed the entire course within seven days. It was quite a lengthy process, but I enjoyed learning everything the course had to offer.

I 100% recommend this course to anyone who is interested in learning how to teach, it helped me so much and has made me so excited to start teaching! All the content is explained very in detail but isn’t too much and never felt boring. I was worried I would get exhausted and give up but they keep you so motivated to keep going! I had a stroke in 2014 due to an undiagnosed medical issue. I didn't know if I could be successful at forging a new path to my fiture, but with a user friendly website, and a little bit of help at the beginning from the tutors, I was able to begin that journey.

The content and concepts presented were easy to understand. The quizzes helped cement the knowledge obtained, and the flow of progression made logical sense.

Obtaining my TESOL certificate gave me the first sense of pride I've had in years. This experience has given me new hope for my future.

I am from Turkey and our economy is really troubled right now. With this course i can actually work in a foreign currency paying job but the courses in my country or other online possibilities are way too expensive. After i found your website i was worried the teaching part or the support is going to be lame but not at all! On the contrary, a friend who took the course from a well known international company never got the support she needed. Your teachers helped me in an extremely detailed way and when i asked further examples they gave it with a smile. So i appreciate all the support and also thank you for the possibility to take the certificate with an affordable price.

Overall I was really impressed with the program. It provided a thorough guide of how to teach the English language by first starting with the absolute basics and moving through to other important factors of teaching, like student motivation and the importance of decorations, which I really appreciated. They also included a lot of helpful examples of activities or exercises to include in your teaching. More than anything, I liked how the program felt managable. While the modules are longer, the individual lessons are small and make it feel like you are making progress quickly. It's a great value, I recommend it!

It was refreshing and fun to relearn, again even the basic English lessons. The modules or lessons at first were tiring to start and to continue but eventually, the lessons got more engaging as I remember learning the exact same thing when I was younger. Learning these lessons again brought back fond memories when I was an elementary student and how I used to love listening to my teacher, discovering new words, and learning about grammar. I've always loved the English subject, even until college. I was also fortunate enough to have great English Teachers. This training course was indeed interesting, engaging, and comforting.

I think it's a pretty good course, especially for beginner teachers, or those who had a weak teaching methodology at university. As a starting point, this course will help you to go deeper into teaching methods, terminology and give you the motivation to keep learning!
I personally liked that I had the opportunity to go over the theory. For example, types of sentences, types of verbs, etc. I know this well in my native language, but there are gaps in English. So, I was able to structure it in my head in English, which will help me explain grammar to my students better.
The only thing I would like to see is video extracts from the lessons that would show how to apply certain methods, such as CCQ, in practice.
