It was great to be able to have a certification from this institution. The World Tesol Academy not only taught me the essential techniques that I should acquire and use in a classroom setting but also reviewed the basic grammar and parts of speech that would be essential in teaching in an ESL classroom. The modules were indeed organized starting from the simple part of the English language to the different aspects of teaching. Words used are easily understood and the schedule given was not too overwhelming. I am truly grateful for this learning experience.

This course was a great review of English skills that were left dormant since my High School days. Many of the topics and examples have already service to enhance our team's lessons to a group of refugees seeking to make a life for themselves here in the US. This course was practical, easy to follow, in-depth but not overwhelmingly technical, challenging but very doable for those "more seasoned" learners, like myself. :)

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?

Stick to it! I found it very helpful to type summary statements for each of the modules I completed in order to have a quick and ready reference tool to review before I began the next lesson. It helped as I progressed through each module as well as when I did my final review before the final exam.

I began the course two months ago and found it required significant reading and dedication to complete within the allocated timeframe. The quizzes were straightforward, reflecting the course content directly, which made them manageable. At no time I felt any pressure doing the final quiz. Only thing I found the end of module quizzes could have been a bit more challenging. I love the aid of the videos in the modules, it made the content even more relatable. Overall, it was an excellent certification course.

The course covers the basic topics of English teaching. As I have my experiences in language education, I feel it wraps up everything and inspires me with some new insights. Nice experience. It provides many activities that aim to teach every topic, providing me with more ideas on how I can engage with my students. I hope this certificate will add to my CV and give me more opportunities to teach in different countries. Overall, it is a nice experience to enroll in the course and observe some real classroom lessons.

I’m taking my first step toward entering the Teaching industry. My friend recommended this website and I tried it for my first certificate in a new career path. I hope my future career path will be exciting and fun with young learners. As I am new to the teaching field, this course helps me to learn how to guide students and valuable resources.
