Accredited 120-hour TESOL/TEFL Course - World TESOL Academy

I was searching the internet for an online TESOL course as I was interested in acquiring the skills to teach English as a foreign language. There were several options available, but I was particularly drawn to this one because of its course content, and its systematic presentation. Despite being a retired teacher and native English speaker, I learned many new concepts. On completion, I have gained a better understanding of the intricacies involved in teaching English as a foreign language. My goal is to finish the remaining three courses so that I can acquire a comprehensive understanding of the essential skills needed to teach effectively at any level, including online teaching. This will prepare me for any potential teaching opportunities that may arise in the future.

The course outline is clear and its web layout is very easy to navigate. Some days I even use my phone but I did not encounter any problems in doing that. As an education graduate, I am delighted to be refreshed with concepts of teaching and contents of English language teaching. But I think that the more modern practices in teaching such as online teaching is really a bonus. I am so glad that my friend have recommended this to me! I have been seeing a lot of other options but I think knowing that this certification is accredited by well-known accreditors, I am happy I made the right decision.

It was fun reading until I didn’t notice that i already finished the course. All the modules are very interesting to discover since I am teaching grade 2 students i have a lot of lessons that i encounter for me to be able to teach with my students the unique way of teaching based on the experiences that i gained. Sometimes its similar to the way i teach my students but then I learned that the simple way its better than to teach when first knowing your students capabilities and interest. Thank you for this course, I’ve learned a lot and lots to share with my co teachers as well.

首先真的是很幸运无意中发现了这个学习平台，之前差点不小心被坑去花好几千去进行学习和考这个证。后面看到前面的有经验的朋友发的帖子介绍所以自己也进来挑选，可选择性很多，适合不同地区的学员。经过详细对比分析，最后选择了World Tesol Academy。选择的原因主要来自三个方面：第一，价格公道，价格主要是2种，1种是要求4个月内完成学习，费用折合人民币是240元；一个是终身有效，学习费用好像是不到400元人民币。我选择的是4个月内学完，因为我想给自己一些时间压迫感，也不想花多100多元。这个价格真的太良心了，比起国内一些赚信息差的一些平台动不动花3-5000块的来说实在是很香。第二个原因是课程的设计很合理，每一篇每一章快的话就2-3分钟就可以搞定。题目也不算难。第三，对于想考TKT的英语教师来说，这个tesol的学习内容跟TKT的学习内容非常相似，基本可以等同于TKT教材的电子版，但TKT的报考费其中一门就需要598元（共5门）,可以当做考TKT之前的一个基础准备。相当于花最少的钱提前让自己学习一遍TKT，又把TESOL的证拿下。那如果考过TKT的同学再来看TESOL的这些内容那就更容易了。我自己就是因为之前忙着准备TKT考试而没有先看TESOL的课程内容以至于自己走了弯路，花了3000考了TKT才知道这些。希望可以帮助到有志于做好英语教师的同学们。

I like the course because it was easy to follow, yet it was interesting and educational. I will use these knowledge to work abroad in Taiwan as an english teacher in a cram school, working with kids from age 6-15. Meaning that I have beginners- as the course calls them- and teenagers. The tips on rules and discipline will help me manage the classes and understand the different needs that my students will have. I also think that is useful to know which activities are suitable for each age group and how to introduce new topics.

The worldwide TEFL/TESOL course is very educative in acquiring the skills and knowledge in teaching English as a language. I have learned so much compared to another English course I purchased. I have learnt that I can teach English online which was very useful. The course is also affordable or budget friendly compared to other courses offered online. The course teaches how one can update his or her curriculum vitae for online teaching English.
The course is also certified and approved in many countries.

My favorite parts were those that gave real examples of activities that can be done with students. I wish they would provide you with a pdf or something that just has those activities on it, and maybe a pdf that has all of the concepts summarized quickly, for reference later. I would like to be able to review what I learned later on, but I don't want to have to open up the course and then try to find what I'm looking for there. I enjoyed how organized and clear the course was. It was easy to navigate and the lessons followed a pattern that let me quickly predict how long each section would take to finish and what would be expected to complete each module.

Its a very good programme which teaches the parts of English that we take for granted. Its very challenging and interesting at the same time. The techniques taught are quite helpful I am sure, for classroom situations. I enjoyed every bit. The final exam is the most exciting part, its complex and takes you through all the modules. I found it to be very challenging. The part I loved most about the modules is that it goes a step further to teach skills for teaching online. After this course, I feel I am ready to teach as I have been equipped.
