It was worth it to come!

I'm Annalisa. I'm 29 years old from Chicago, and I'm enrolled in a graduate program through Johns Hopkins in managing. I chose to come to China for the internship because I'm going to grad school in the fall and not James, so I wanted to come to China this summer to learn more, be immersed in the Chinese culture before starting graduate school. I chose to come to China GAC because I knew that they would be able to help me take care of all of my arrangements, like my accommodation, my Chinese classes, and helping me find an internship, so I just wanted that extra support while I was here.

I was looking for CYB, the Center for Youth Business Facilitation, and my job was really like an innovation consultant.
So I helped them organize, create curriculum, organize a lot of activities for students around youth entrepreneurship, and teaching entrepreneurship, which I already have a lot of experience in.

I live with a family, so I've lived with three families now, two in Shanghai and one in Beijing. I moved back and forth with my internship, and I really have enjoyed staying with different kinds of families because I've learned a lot about how Chinese families live in different ways.

I've attended a lot of GAC activities. I did some ceramics, I did Tai Chi, I did dragon boat racing in Beijing. I think I like dragon boat racing the best because it was a very unique experience. And I really like China, Beijing and Shanghai. I think I enjoyed Beijing the most because it's very historical, but I really like China because I've been learning the language, I can appreciate it more now that I've been here for the summer. And then after my internship, I'm going to go to Nanjing and study at the Drum Natural Machine, which has some cooperation with Nanjing.

Pros
  • The programme takes care of all the arrangements for your stay.
  • Excellent facilities
  • You will be placed in excellent companies for your internship.

I believe this experience will be remembered forever in my life

Hello, I am From Italy, Joined the GoAbroadChina internship in the China program with the Homestay in Shanghai in 2024. I decided to come to China to improve my Chinese and enter the world of work. So, I decided to rely on the GoAbroadChina agency to facilitate this two-month experience in Shanghai. I stayed with a host family, and I can say it was a beautiful experience. From day one, Nicole and her family treated me like a daughter.

I also completed an internship at a company and learned a lot about work. In addition, GoAbroadChina organized Chinese lessons for me on Saturday afternoons with a really good teacher who was very professional. She encouraged us to talk as much as possible.

I believe this experience will be remembered forever in my life, and I would like to do it again. I simply want to say thank you to the GoAbroadChina agency.

My family led me to participate in many meaningful activities, such as printing and dyeing technology, etc.

GoabroadChina -Internship at a law firm and live with homestay for 2 months

I am from America, joined the GoAbroadChina internship program in China in 2024.
Hello, my name is James Remington. For the past 10 weeks, I have been studying in China, utilizing the services provided by GoAbroadChina, and it has been an absolutely wonderful experience. Currently, I am recording from the Shanghai Botanical Garden, a lovely garden situated a bit on the outskirts of the city.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude towards GoAbroadChina and the amazing services they offer. Firstly, my accommodations and homestay experience have been phenomenal. The family I have stayed with has become more than just hosts; I consider them to be very dear personal friends. Saying goodbye to them will be bittersweet.

Regarding the internship aspect, it has been a truly enriching experience to immerse myself in the Chinese working culture. I interned with a law firm and have not only formed great personal friendships but also established valuable professional connections with the partners, associates, and fellow interns. I cannot emphasize enough how highly I recommend this service. It has been very convenient to integrate into Chinese culture and language, and I now consider myself much more knowledgeable about both than when I first arrived in China. This is largely thanks to the wonderful services provided by GoAbroadChina.

Overall, my time in China has been nothing short of amazing, and I will be sad to leave. Thank you.

I attended a couple's wedding and witnessed their happiness.

A thrilling experience

I just wrapped up an incredible internship in China through the GAC program, and it was a blast! Not only did they provide fantastic support before and after my departure, but they also helped me navigate the vibrant nightlife and explore stunning sights like Yanyu garden and bustling nightclubs. From late-night adventure to weekend sightseeing, GAC made sure I had the time of my life while gaining valuable work experience. Even now, they're still assisting me with some internship-related documents, proving their dedication. If you're considering an internship abroad, GAC is the way to go for an unforgettable experience!

Go Abroad China helped me sort out any issues that I had

Hello, my name is Ali. I want to give a little review of my experience with Go Abroad China.

To begin with, I got in touch with them about a year ago and then Go Abroad China sent me an accepting email and then sent a few job offers of companies that could work with me. I was fortunate enough to get a job I applied to. A company called AR Capital was a very nice company for foreign interns.

I was very fortunate to have GoAbroadChina as they helped me sort out my accommodation, and my visa as well as a lot of other extra services
that I would require. They arranged airport pick-up, and my SIM card so I could be able to get internet and communicate with anyone.

Go Abroad China also helped set up Chinese courses, set up tours for me to explore China. I actually visited Beijing with Go Abroad China guides and it was an amazing experience.

Go Abroad China also helped me sort out any issues that I had. I had a few problems visiting the hospital and they made sure that I was able to go to the hospital with the translator. I've had an amazing experience with Go Abroad China and I really really would recommend it. I'd be happy to have a chat with you. And you could get my contact from them I'd be willing to speak to you and help you.

If you did this all over again, what's one thing you would change?
I want to learn Mandarin well and travel around China

I spent three happy months in Shanghai as an intern learning Chinese.

I'm from the USA and I'm currently here in Shanghai for 3 months for a internship as well as individual Chinese lessons . I came here through GoAbroadChina and they were really helpful with the whole process - I'm not super fluent in mandarin so they helped me find a company that was based internationally and had a firm here, so they were really accommodating for that and it's also helping me a lot with my Chinese being able to communicate a little bit in English too. They also help me find my individual lessons which was really helpful, the teacher is super nice. She caters towards your needs so some of my goals
include being able to speak daily with my family members as well as with like locals so that's been really helpful and then they've also been um really helpful just with getting me settle in so picking me up from the airport making sure that I knew my way around and just having someone there constantly if you need help just to message or if you have any simple questions is so much better than just kind of throwing yourself out there and not knowing anything so that was really helpful.

Great internship experience

Hey, I'm Mark. Thanks to GAC, I snagged a finance internship gig here in Shanghai, China. Seriously, finding GAC was like hitting the jackpot! They not only hooked me up with a finance gig that's right up my alley but also made the whole process a breeze. My game plan? Get some real-world work experience before hitting the books at university.

From the moment I landed, GAC had my back. They sorted out my phone, subway cards – you name it! And whenever I hit a snag, their team was on it, making sure I felt right at home in this new environment. Oh, and Saturdays? It's all about the fun – GAC plans out cool activities like food adventures and sports, making every weekend a blast.

The internship itself? Awesome! Met some great folks, and the company GAC hooked me up with? Total pros. I've learned heaps about finance and how the industry ticks. Every day feels like a learning adventure, and I'm soaking it all up like a sponge.

Thinking about interning in China? GAC's got your back! They not only sort out the logistics but also make you feel like family. With GAC in my corner, I know I've made the right call. This journey's been one for the books – unforgettable and full of eye-opening experiences!

What was your funniest moment?
It was very interesting to participate in the activities organized by GAC. We played sports, played badminton and played Frisbee together, which was really fun!
Pros
  • people are very friendly and welcoming
  • very safe
  • food was delicious

I really liked GoAbroadChina program a lot and my experience was so much more than I expected

I came to China for the Internship in Finance in an investment company. I chose China because Chinese economy is booming and it is the best destination now. I decided to use GoAbroadChina services because their program was the most suitable for me and offered more options for Internship Programs. Also those extra activities GoAbroadChina provides are more tailored for foreign young people. I am double majoring in Real Estate and Finance, my Investment Internship really completes my academic backgrounds. I’m sure my internship will help my future development.

I really liked GoAbroadChina program a lot and my experience was so much more than I expected. I wish I could stay more and explore more, because there are so many things to see. My Home Stay family was very nice and I’d say the whole thing was once in a life time experience. My Chinese classes were very helpful, especially because there is great environment to practice. After staying in China and meeting many people I’ve really started to think about future career in China and keep learning Chinese language.
