Art History Abroad
Why choose Art History Abroad?
Art History Abroad (AHA) offers immersive courses across Europe, Italy, and India, bringing art, history, and culture to life in the places they happened. We believe learning should be enjoyable and that art and history are best taught in the presence of the real thing.
On an AHA course, students explore renowned sites, take part in artist workshops, and enjoy local experiences such as cooking classes and marble sculpting. Our courses are interactive, social, and hands-on, extending far beyond the traditional classroom. They are led by passionate young tutors whose friendly, inspiring teaching has shaped students’ experiences for nearly 40 years.
Open to those aged 17-22 with enthusiasm and curiosity, AHA offers a 12-week European semester, 4-6 week Gap Year courses in Italy or India, and 2-4 week summer courses in Italy – a unique opportunity to explore new cities, learn deeply, and form lasting friendships.
