Just use Korvia, Okay??

Firstly, this service is FREE! I know people who have gone through this process on their own and there were times when they were totally lost. In the end, it worked out for them, but why add that stress when you don't have to?? Moving abroad is already stressful enough on its own, so take advantage of this FREE service.

I had a great experience with Korvia! My goal was to teach through the EPIK program, and I felt more at ease throughout the application knowing that Korvia could anticipate what EPIK would need from me. My recruiter, Jessie, was very helpful! She was always prompt with her responses, which is so important during this process because you want to turn in your application and various documents ASAP. And trust me, there will be many questions. Her encouragement throughout the application process and beyond was exactly what I needed during this stressful time. Now that I am settled in Korea, I know that I can still go to her with any questions that I have.

Another benefit of working with Korvia, is that their various partnerships allow you to receive some great deals! There are some discounts they can offer you that help offset the expenses of applying to teach in Korea. For example getting a prepaid SIM card (for your phone) that will be ready at the airport upon your arrival in Korea. There are other offers I did not take advantage of, but that others have found very useful!

My advice would be to do everything earlier than you think you have to, double check everything yourself, and be proactive! Korvia is an amazing help, but in the end its YOUR application and YOUR experience. They work hard to support you, but you also have to work hard! :)

Amazing

Korvia has made the process to live abroad stress free! I would definitely recommend Korvia again, and would genuinely use them over and over. Living abroad is exciting yet terrifying notion but Korvia has been there every step of the way for me. From the initial application process, interview and even arrival. My recruiter has been able to address my questions in an extremely timely manner. I have been fortunate enough that the process was facilitated immensely for me.

Korvia were Great!

Korvia helped me every step of the way! Jessie was an amazing recruiter! I recommend Korvia to everyone. They answer all your questions quickly and make the process of finding a teaching job in Korea painless. They work as your best buddy as you go through the process, they support you every step of the way. You can find a English teaching job in Korea without Korvia, but why would you want to? They are the best recruiter around.

Good

I found the registration process straightforward and was invited for an interview within a few days after submitting my application. My consultant gave me advice concerning Private academies, GEPIK and GOE programs. I decided to apply for the GOE program because they welcome new teachers, run workshops to improve teaching skills and also offer a brief orientation. Throughout the latter stage of the document process I worked with various recruiters.

During the orientation I received a lot of support from GOE staff & Mr Wery from Korean Horizons. I learnt that applicants from Korean Horizons seemed more informed and had a stronger network of support even when they were in Korea. Moreover, their accommodation was more suited being a business motel and their fee was much lower.
Mr Wery assisted all applicants on both days of orientation including transport to & from the health centre.

In reflection, I feel Korvia lacked in certain areas given their reputation, and it would have been nice to meet a member of staff in person at the orientation. My experience with them has been okay and I appreciate all those who I worked with. Despite a few setbacks they enabled me to secure a teaching position on time.
I am also grateful for the way GOE staff and Mr Wery helped make the orientation a smooth process.

The best decision I've ever made

Honestly, moving to South Korea and working with EPIK has been the best decision I've ever made, and I don't think it would have been possible without the help of Korvia Consulting! The EPIK process is certainly intimidating, but Korvia made sure everything was taken care of smoothly and in a timely manner. My recruiter was Victoria, and she was so professional, knowledgable, and friendly! Korvia is there to help you every step along the way, from submitting your initial documents and application, all the way through greeting you at the airport when you arrive in Korea. I had a ton of questions, and Victoria was always prompt to respond. Korvia really does go above and beyond to make sure applicants feel comfortable and confident throughout the EPIK process, and I'm so happy I was able to work with them! I would definitely recommend Korvia Consulting to anyone interested in teaching English is Korea!

Highly Recommend Korvia!

I could not be more impressed with Korvia Consulting! I had very little idea of what to expect of the application process and I had a lot of questions. My recruiter, Brian was always there to answer my questions. I honestly don't think I'd be in Korea right now if it weren't for him. He was so confident in me which made me more confident in myself. I was so excited the day I finally got to meet Brian face to face at Gimhae Airport! He still continues to check in with me from time to time. Korvia Consulting provides so much support for its applicants throughout the entire lengthy process. I highly highly recommend Korvia Consulting to anyone who is considering applying to the EPIK program!

Great, trustworthy company

Korvia is an all-around great company to work with. They are legit, trustworthy and hardworking people. Our recruiter, Ann, worked very hard to make the whole process of interviewing, accepting a job, then navigating through all the paperwork as easy as possible for us. We started our new job in Seongnam a few days ago and it's going great so far. The city is amazing and all of our co-workers are great. I'm very glad we chose to use Korvia's services and I'd highly recommend them to anyone seeking a teaching job in Korea.

Great

This has been a wonderful way to apply a teaching position in Korea. If I was by myself and had to try to figure everything out then I would be lost in so many times. However, using this service helped a lot for me to find a suitable position in Korea. Since I have no connection in Korea at all, Korvia and its staffs have been a great help and supported me so that also gave me a relief. I think everyone since it is free of charge should go for this service.
