Very helpful company

Korvia was very helpful to me when I was searching for a job. I had been in Korea for two years but needed to find another job due to my old job being cut. I found my current job through them and they provided a lot of assistance getting me the paperwork needed to transfer positions. My recruiter was very friendly and helpful throughout the process. They are also available to provide assistance if an issue arises with the school after you have already signed the contract. I highly recommend them for someone new to Korea or someone already in country that needs another job.

Really helpful for a picky canidate

I had a unique and interesting situation that Korvia was able to help me with. My fiance already had a position in a small town with a few schools, and we really wanted to live together. Other recruiters just yes-ed me then didn't deliver. They told me they could get me job there, just to find out that they didn't even have contacts in the city. Korvia found me a job in her town. The funny thing is they happened to find me a school closer to my fiance's apartment then hers! lol. I really would recommend these folks. They're a big agency, they work with a lot of public schools, and everyone's English was first rate. Even when I came in to deliver papers, everyone there was friendly and spoke English.

What would you improve about this program?
The recruiter I worked with was really helpful. I already live in Korea, and had free time, so they asked me to file some of my own paperwork before I started the next job. Took a few taxi rides to immigration to get everything sorted out.

Korvia really cares about our well-being!

I had an amazing experience with Korvia! I was already in Korea when I needed a job urgently. Every staff member from Korvia worked until after hours to find me my dream job within two weeks. Everything went by smoothly and quickly.
I appreciate every Korvia member's time and concern for me because now I'm at a school where I am happy. It's been an amazing experience that I will probably re-sign with this school. I recommend this company because they help everyone as much as they can and work hard to find us the perfect job!

Korvia Review

The recruiting team at Korvia Consulting has been very professional. I had the pleasure of meeting them before my job started and they were all very kind and helpful. My recruiter was extremely helpful throughout the whole job seeking process. I teach at a school in the countryside in Gyeonggido and it has been a pleasant experience so far. I highly recommend Korvia Consulting.

If you want to teach in Korea, check out Korvia

Last year, I was working in Korea and looking for a different job. Through a series of fortunate events, I was able to meet Jessie. At that time, I found out she was a recruiter for Korvia. Eventually, I decided to give Korvia a try.

I'm so glad I did.

Jessie was kind, friendly, and knowledgable from day 1. She was very forthcoming with information, and very receptive to my location preferences. I was fortunate enough to get a job thanks to the efforts of Jessie and others at Korvia. After I got this job, Korvia reached out to check in, which I appreciate. They also hold events for Korvia recruits.

I've since directed several of my friends to Korvia. I've been very pleased with my experience with this agency.

What would you improve about this program?
Maybe it's because I just ate some really good ice cream, but there's nothing I can personally complain about. Korvia is great!

The best and most efficient recruiting agency in Korea!

My experience with Korvia has been nothing but pleasant. I had almost given up hope to continue teaching in Korea. During the process of finding a placement, I sent out countless applications and emails to recruiters seeking English teachers, but was the response was not only slow but the positions offered were lacking and not what I was looking for, or there was just no response which was really frustrating. Fortunately, I came across Korvia while searching online and after working with them I realized that I had found the best and most efficient recruiting agency in Korea.

After sending them an email, I was soon put into contact with warm and friendly recruiter who instantly made me feel welcomed and valued me as a possible candidate to teach as an English teacher in Korea. The interview process was the most pleasant experience I've had finding a job! I couldn't have asked for a better person than Jessie. i could feel her enthusiasm and care in finding a suitable school for me and I am most grateful and cannot thank her enough for her help.

I now live in Uijeongbu, Gyeonngi-do at an Elementary public school. I love my job as an English teacher and working at my current school. I believe Korvia dedicates their time and puts their utmost effort in providing teachers great workplaces and I really recommend other teachers out there to put their trust in Korvia's service and just be ready for the best teaching experience and a great chance to live and fall in love with Korean culture.

What would you improve about this program?
If it was one thing I could change is informing teachers about their district coordinators or someone who they can speak to when they first arrive in their city. I was a bit unsure who to contact if I had questions.

Korvia, a recruiting company I trust

I've always wanted to try working abroad. The combination of cultivating my professional life while going on an adventure was an idea that I could not pass up.

I found Korvia Consulting through a connection that I had. The Korvia staff was very kind and tried their best to find the best time for my initial interview with them. When a time as established, they made sure I understood the time and date of the interview due to time zone differences.

During the interview, I was greeted by my soon to be recruiter. She was very kind, positive, and helpful during the whole process. I felt no pressure whatsoever and actually enjoyed the interview process.

After being accepted by Korvia Consulting, my recruiter was AMAZINGLY helpful. All of my questions were answered within 24 hours and she even checked up on me every now and then to make sure my GOE application process was going well. I remember an incident where my recuiter thought I had an interview in a few hours, so she personally called me because she thought I didn't know about it. I actually rescheduled it beforehand with Ciena. However, I really appreciated my recuiters concern!

Even after moving to Korea, I still hear from my recuiter from time to time. She even helped be understand the bus system!

I have nothing but good things to say about Korvia Consulting and hope others will work with them as well. The recruiters really care and are extremely nice people. You will not regret working with them!

What would you improve about this program?
I had only 1 mishap during my interview process. I sent off a copy an important document. I thought a copy was acceptable, but turns out they needed the actual thing.

The wording in an official email was a little bit confusing. My only suggestion would be to double check with your recruits on the understanding of the required documents.

A Team of Amazingly Helpful Members

I love working with Korvia, and I couldn't imagine doing it without them. They truly are the best when it comes to seeking great teaching opportunities in Korea. Everything from the webinars, the EPIK pre-interview, timeline prep and Korvia social parties has helped my transition to Korea so much smoother than expected!

My recruiter Daisy was always on hand to help me with any difficult questions I had. I was actually waitlisted by EPIK because of a document taking longer to mail out then expected - but Daisy didn't lose hope in making something happen. She worked with me to figure out other options and finally were able to find me a placement here.

I'm so grateful for the phenomenal Korvia team. Without their lovely support and hard-work, I wouldn't be here enjoying a new chapter in my life. If you're thinking of coming to Korea, please do yourself a favor and work with this lovely team of champions!
