I recently completed The TEFL Academy’s Level 5 TEFL course, and overall I found it to be a very worthwhile experience. The course is fully online, self-paced, and consists of a well-structured 168 hours of content. The modules cover everything from teaching methodology and lesson planning to grammar and classroom management, and I felt they provided a solid foundation for becoming an English teacher.

One of the biggest strengths was the quality of feedback. Each assignment was graded thoroughly, with helpful comments that really encouraged me to improve. The course is also Ofqual-regulated, which gave me extra confidence that my certificate would be recognized internationally. I honestly had a blast in this program. I learnt so much on not only the complexities of teaching English and explaining it, but the complexities of the planning behind it. I have gained so much more love and appreciation for teachers and what they do. It surely has to be because of the love they have for teaching and mentoring.
On the program, I think it such a great one. I regret not doing the combined course, but the support online was so awesome. I appreciated the tutors and support from the team.

I'm very happy that I chose to complete my Level 5 TEFL diploma with the TEFL Academy. The course was simple to follow and engaging throughout. I came back to Jordan after 6 years of being abroad. No jobs, so no income. After researching for a couple of days, I enrolled in the Level 5 course with The TEFL Academy because i was sure it was going to open up doors of opportunities for me. The course itself is not easy and if your english is not very good you will need extra hard work.
The course not being easy is a very good thing because no one wants teachers who aren't qualified to teach. One notable thing about the course is the amount of support you are given, it's unmatched! And i asked a lot of questions and got my answers in a couple of hours. I advise everyone interested to take the course without hesitation :)

The website that they used to host the lessons were very intuitive and easy to understand. I learned many new skills from TEFL and have already begun applying them to my current classes. I’ve noticed a huge difference in the way I teach thanks to TEFL and the techniques provided. I would highly recommend this course to other teachers who would want to improve their techniques and are looking for a different outlook. Additionally, the support provided through their admin and teachers are extremely swift and helpful.

This course was very insightful, I learned a lot and it was so easy to navigate through course materials and the website. The website is extremely user friendly in my opinion and instructions are well provided and easy to understand. My favourite part of the course was the 10 Hour Classroom Session, it was so fun. Meeting people who were doing the same course, we could share our experience of what we have learned so far, we all shared what exactly we want to do once our certificates were completed. The lecturer was AMAZING, so welcoming, so friendly and so open to any questions we had to ask, she was present and very patient and made the class exciting while going through the coursework. The examples she used actually made me understand certain topics better. Overall, the course was worth it! Very highly recommend! The service I got from The TEFL Academy was amazing! Whenever I had a question or needed some help with admin, it would be sorted within a day. Highly recommend this course, especially the combined course where one will get the in person class!
