I've learned a lot of valuable information that played a large role in my getting a job shortly after qualifying. I would happily go back to the TEFL Academy to further my studies with their more specialised programs, such as teaching Business English. Their weekly webinars have also been incredibly helpful and informative. Their student support wastes no time in responding to any questions a student may have and are incredibly helpful. Can only hope that they add more courses to their program. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the course and learned a lot. I was also able to see where my own weak points in the English language were and where I need to improve as a teacher.

I truly enjoyed the Online TEFL Academy course. Now after finishing the course I feel well prepared for teaching english.
The website of the course was really easy to follow and your progress is being tracked so you know how much of the course you have left. The units are very well structured and interesting. The lessons are very understandable and fun. The provided content is diverse, you get a lot of videos, some quick quizzes and fun games to check if you understood everything and you also get reading sections.
For the assessments you get a step by step guide, so everything is made very clear and is easy to follow. After only a few days you get your results!
The online course is extremely flexible, so you can choose when and where you do your lessons and assignments. You get plenty of time to finish the course, however if you feel like you need more time, you can simply ask for more.
I would recommend The TEFL Academy to everyone that wants to have a flexible job. You can teach online, overseas, in your own country anywhere you desire.

This course was great for learning how to teach the English language and work with students. I felt it provided all the information I needed through the online content and the in person class was great to put what I'd learnt into practice. With it being online it was easy to navigate the site and access support from tutors if I needed it. The assignments were well explained and I felt they helped me understand the content better. I would definitely recommend this course to other people. It's been really helpful.

I honestly did not know what to expect when enrolling in the course but now I can say it exceeded my expectations. Once I started, the tasks and materials were so engaging that I actually felt the need to access the platform every day. The course content is well organised and the assignments are carefully planned to help you put into practise all you have learned. Although I have experience in teaching, I have acquired plenty of new skills and knowledge. I simply cannot wait to start my teaching experience in another country!

I just completed the level 5 diploma (168 hours) with The TEFL Academy & I am super excited to start my teaching journey .The course on the whole was very informative & left me with knowledge that was not known to me before . The assignments were not complicated, however you have to do your research & make sure it’s from reputable websites. The online TEFL course is a very good option for anyone who wants to become a certified ESL teacher but doesn't have time to attend courses in real life. The course website offers a variety of useful information and tips on teaching different age groups of students. Each unit contains not only text presentations on the topic but also plenty of engaging exercises to check your understanding. The access to the course is time limited but it is more than enough to complete all units with assignments (just remember to stick to your learning schedule ;) ). Overall, the course was a pleasant and enriching experience. It's even better if you also book the 10h teaching practice in one of Academy's locations. Helps you put everything you learned into perspective and it's a great opportunity to brainstorm teaching ideas with other course participants.
