My experience with the TEFL Academy has been horrible!! To begin with the course was extremely boring and provided zero benefit for teachers. I have around 5 years of experience teaching English to individuals of all ages and levels in multiple countries around the world, so I know what I am talking about when I criticize this absolute uselessness of the "education/information" that is provided by the TEFL Academy.
Then they are too lazy to obtain my certificate of completion that they ask me to contact TQUK, this is after one month of waiting when they "claim" time and again that certificates will be sent within two weeks. I have to contact TEFL to ask what is going on, they are not professional enough to contact me to explain that there is a delay, and then they have the nerve to tell me to sort out the problem myself.
Don't waste your time or money on this organization, there are plenty of others who I am sure are competent and do their jobs.

A first rate program, with excellent content and support. Very comprehensive coverage of all aspects of the curriculum. Great use of different teaching styles and media. The assignments are very well thought through, and certainly add to the overall quality of the program. They help to reinforce the key learning points, and add extra depth to the program. The additional reading material and videos are also excellent, and I will continue to use and review them over time. I would highly recommend this program.

It was a brilliant course, challenging, but really well thought out. I enjoyed doing every part of the course and found it extremely interesting and rewarding. The support was diligent and didn't take long to respond. I really enjoyed doing Unit 9 where they discussed the history of English and explained how it became an international language. I personally never knew the amount of effort teachers go through to present their classes, but this course has really changed my perspective of teaching and made me more assertive in my decision to potentially become a teacher.

At first, I was so excited to enroll in this online TEFL course. I admit the assignments weren't easy and there were plenty of times when I wasn't sure I could complete them. However, with a bit of motivation and the generous support from the online tutors, I was able to successfully finish the program, even if it did take three course extensions and almost two years of on-and-off studying. I'm grateful to this company for giving me the opportunity to earn my TEFL certification, and I look forward to seeing where it takes me in the future :)

It is a very thorough course, contains everything I expected and more. There's so many different aspects to teaching English as a foreign language that I hadn't thought about and this course brought them to the forefront. Love the interactive parts where there is a chance to put your newly gained knowledge to the test. Keeps it interesting and not too dry. The assignments are challenging, which is exactly what's needed. Give yourself plenty of time to complete the assignments. Don't hesitate if you're considering this course...go for it!

What an excellent choice to get equipped in language training! The TEFL Academy Online is very affordable and allows you to work at your own pace, but does not sacrifice quality or comprehensive focus on the important tasks of TESL. I plan to use what I have learned to connect in a new culture and supplement my income and this course accomplished everything I needed. The TEFL Academy really offers an easy to use and easy to understand course. The course was interesting and informative. It also keeps you motivated to complete the course with its engaging activities. All relevant and useful information is provided making it easy to complete the activities and assignments your first time. There are some Units that are longer and more difficult to get through than others, but all information provided is relevant and necessary, not only to complete the course but also to better your understanding of the English language and the skill it takes to teach it. The course helped me realize that being a teacher is a very important job and is not to be done for a free vacation. Teachers have one of the most important roles in a child's development, so one should always strive for perfection within this role. Some time after my graduation, I saved money and had the TEFL Academy recommended by a friend. I found them at an affordable price with good benefits as well. Due to the pandemic, it suited me perfectly to do a course online. It was easily accessible, especially when moving around study places. The tutors were most helpful, polite and swift. They answered really professionally and provided the correct information. I found it mostly enjoyable and was pleased to see the extra resources and activities included. I was extremely happy that the course challenged my thinking in various scenarios. I completed the course at a comfortable pace around my daily schedule.
