I enjoyed how accessible the online course was. I was able to complete the course at my own pace and engage in the topic when I able to complete at my own pace.

Assignment feedback was provided quickly and was constructive, enabling for feedback to be implemented in the subsequent assignments.

Videos and readings were packed with information to support understanding and aid the process of writing assignments. Quizzes throughout the course were helpful and well structured.

I look forward to using the course in the future!

Was an awesome experience learning he different techniques one would employ when teaching English which will greatly help me as i embark on my journey. Thankful for the knowledge and theory within the course coupled with the basic testing after every chapter which helped me in terms of my understanding of the course content. The assignments were challenging but fair, they did take a lot of time personally but aided in providing a foundation of how meticulous i will be need to be when preparing my lesson plans for students. Overall i would highly recommend the TEFL Academy course

I loved the TEFL 5 course I did. First, I thought that at the age of 65 and working on International luxury cruise ships for 20 years, I knew how to speak English, but to my surprise I had a lot to learn. I had a little struggle with the assessments because there were some of the old videos on YouTube, so it was confusing, but I got it and, because I am still in the age where I want to do everything without asking for help, naturally it took me some time. I learned that you are never too old to learn and discover new things to do. So I am very happy to say that I will recommend this course to anyone who wants to improve their English and also wants to make extra money or do it to travel. I am planning to give lessons online as I am busy doing homeschooling for my grandchild, who is in grade 7 at the moment.

This course has been an eye opener in teaching and the methods The TEFL Academy uses. The approaches and technique in teaching are very student friendly in the fact that students interact and use the target language for practice. I enjoyed the course very much. Further more it enables the teacher to have all students be in a relaxed environment with other students and the teacher as well, by fully interacting in class. Again the course helps the teacher to practice methods of helping students to think very actively in class.

Using the TEFL Academy to obtain my TEFL qualification was really straightforward and simple. I loved the self-guided learning, and the fact I could take it at my own pace. Any time I asked for support, the responses usually came within a few hours, and although I was skeptical to not have a dedicated 'tutor', in the end these fears were unfounded and everything worked really smoothly.

As for the course itself, I was really able to get a good handle on TEFL life, and what I'd need to know, and the assignments were great fun to complete. I would recommend it to everyone if they can do so.

The course was very engaging and easy to follow . It made it easier for me to understand what is expected of a TEFL teacher and what to also expect if given the opportunity that teach in another country . Everyone from the teachers , admin etc were very helpful. When doing interviews I took what I learnt in the course and applied it during the interview. It eased whatever anxieties I had regarding being an ALT teacher . I stumbled with alot of problems with regards to the course but every issue I have had was fixed seamlessly through a simple email .

This TEFL Level 5 (168-hour) certificate course was a completely new experience for me, as it was my first time studying TEFL online. At the beginning, I felt a bit nervous about completing the assignments, but the student support staff were extremely helpful and always guided me whenever I had questions. Their support made a big difference in my learning journey.

I genuinely enjoyed all of the units in the course. Each one was presented clearly, well-structured, and included a variety of engaging activities that made the learning process both effective and enjoyable. I also appreciated the wide range of additional resources provided, which allowed me to explore topics in greater depth whenever I wanted to.

Overall, I feel that I have gained a substantial amount of knowledge and have been equipped with practical tools, ideas, and inspiration to move forward in teaching English. I am very glad that I decided to take this course, and I would highly recommend it to others considering a TEFL qualification.

I recently retired after a life working in science, engineering and business. After living in France for the last 12 years I realised that I want to stay in this wonderful country. I thought it would be a good idea to try my hand at teaching English, partly as an intellectual challenge, partly as a social activity and also to get a little bit of extra pocket money. The TEFL Level 5 course offered by the TEFL Academy has been the perfect introduction to this new phase of my life. I now realise there is a lot more to teaching English than just being a native speaker. The TEFL certification has given me the confidence to start teaching at the Institut International Langues et Affaires in Rambouillet, which I am enjoying very much.
