One of the highlights for me, was the practical classroom course in Cape Town. It brought everything to life, in such a meaningful way and the tutor was incredibly warm, supportive and encouraging. I wanted to broaden my skill set and have more options in terms of career choice. To achieve this, I decided to complete a TEFL course. The TEFL Academy is internationally recognised and accredited making them the right choice. The courses are concise, informative and well-presented, as well as logically building on one another, making it easy to follow and build one’s knowledge of the topic been discussed. The ability to monitor one’s progress makes it easy to plan ahead and organise one’s time while also giving one a sense of achievement when reaching a certain level. The tests and assessments were engaging and used critical thinking forcing you to be alert. The tutor and other support were always prompt, friendly, professional and incredibly helpful. I would recommend the TEFL Academy to anyone. The YouTube channel is also extremely useful with videos been uploaded on a weekly basis to help augment your knowledge of TEFL.

As a person who struggles with studies due to ADHD, having the liberty to study online at my own pace and in comfort was something I really appreciated. The site itself is very easy to navigate and all information and tools provided was extremely helpful and informative. I was skeptical at first, worried about being scammed as so many stories about these things have spread. But I am so glad that I did this program and look forward to doing more in the future with the tefl academy as well as continuing to learn and improve my base skills.

The Online TEFL course through the TEFL Academy has been a challenging yet fulling experience. I am yet to embark on an online teaching platform to put my newly acquired skills to practice. I do feel will equipped to teach English. The insights into English I taught I know has been refined and the hazzy ideas are now clear as day.

If I was planning on teaching abroad, I think this would be a good course to do as it has a lot of hints and tips for classroom teaching. I hadn't planned to study TEFL. It was an unexpected choice; and an even more unexpected success. The content, exercises, assignments and tasks were very educational, relevant and surprisingly entertaining. I would definitely recommend this course. Moreover, when needing support, the tutors and other correspondents were efficient and thorough in their timing and feedback. I feel more knowledgeable about the world because of TEFL. The units were understandable and aesthetically presented, which draws a person in.
