This course helped me to focus and improve my teaching skills, giving me the opportunity to analyse different ESL teaching method. The couse is well presented, and covers the most important topics.
The course provides further readings and additional resources useful to support your learning as you work through the units. Without this further material, maybe the course would be a little too basic, so depending on your study method, i suggest to use it as much as possible.
Unfortunately, within the online course you won't practice what you learn in a protected environment (eg. tutoring, internship, class activities...).

I would highly recommend the Level 5 TEFL Course. I think it is a very well thought-out syllabus which gives plenty of, both inside and outside, resources in order to improve one's teaching. The course has not only made me feel more confident as a teacher, but also has inspired me to keep thinking of new ways in which to make a lesson fun and engaging for students. I originally expected more practical training, however, I think that the course offers enough background and tools in order to effectively apply these skills. I think this is an excellent course.

I'm so pleased there was an entirely online option for the course as this made it affordable for me. I found the course challenging and I feel quite prepared to start teaching with what I've learned. The assignments were marked quickly and thorough feedback was given. A little more tutoring along the way would have been appreciated but enough guidance is given in the instructions and videos that its not a problem. Overall, I'm very happy to have been recommended the course and I would recommend it with gusto to anyone considering getting into TEFL.

I liked how everything was organised and explained in a comprehensive way. I was taught how to design a teaching plan and given tips on making it work, given an exam on creating an actual plan and was taught the importance of paying attention to the mindset of a student and remembering not to assume knowledge on their part and thoroughly explain everything. This course has given me a great foundation to start my career. And considering the price, it has over-delivered. I've enjoyed the journey with the TEFL Academy and I'd choose it again if I went back in time.

The course provided by the Tefl Academy is an all-rounder, leaving you with knowledge across all the areas required to be a successful EFL teacher. I personally think that the feedback given after each assignment is very helpful and some tutors go above and beyond to support your future achievement and understanding. Each module is supported by assessments and exams and overall, leaves you feeling ready to go out and teach. I would give the course 9/10, as some small grievances such as the ability to download course-notes could improve the functionality of the course material.

I found the TEFL Level 5 (168hrs) Course quite interesting and affordable. The end of unit tests were not as challenging as the assignments.
The turn-around time to my queries were always very quick and helpful. The lessons were not long and complicated and very easy to comprehend. I also found the feedback on my assignments to be insightful on where improvement is needed. However, I do feel that the course can be a bit overwhelming if you don't have prior knowledge of how the education system is operated.
Overall this experience was very exciting knowing that you can share a new language to people from various countries around the world.

I graduated from the online Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs). It has an organized online platform. Doing the course online gave me the freedom to plan my own study time. I was able to continue working while doing the course. The instructions are very clear and you know exactly what to expect from the course from its outline. There are lots of materials for further studying and it prepares you to enter the classroom. It's also great if you'd like to teach English online which is what I've started doing. I Loved the course!

The course completely fulfilled my expectations. I've learned so much about teaching methods for all the different skills like reading and listening, as well as how to approach grammar and pronunciation. It gave me many interesting activity ideas to use in the classroom. It has also covered multiple teaching aids, their advantages, and usefulness in different situations. I have received in-depth training on how to plan different types of lessons, considering the needs of specific groups (adults, teenagers, mixed nationality groups, etc.). What I enjoy the most about the experience of taking this course is the constructive feedback provided by the assessors to each assignment. I got to know exactly what I've done right and what needs to be fixed, without feeling discouraged. The assignments were always marked on time. All that while being on my own schedule and not having to leave the house. 10/10 recommend!
