The TEFL academy Level 5 online course was very successful in preparing me with the necessary skills and knowledge required to work with various levels of ESL students with regards to teaching english. I had allot of support and never had to follow up on any email or ticket request. The assignments were somewhat challenging and the instructions could have been clearer, but in the end was very well structured.
I required a course extension because i didn't finish within due time, the extension was very reasonably priced. My partner also did the course and found it very interesting, the course covers most if not all aspects required for teaching english to a foreign language and helps the teacher to understand various problems that might arise when teaching.
Highly recommended.

Enjoyed the online TEFL course.

Despite not having any experience in TEFL, I found the course easy to follow, informative, challenging and rewarding.

The modules and ongoing tests were well managed to confirm knowledge and gave the reassurance needed when following an online course.

Had to take a break but was available to avail of an extension.

Assignments are informative and challenging but can refer to the modules for guidance and suggestions. Assessors provide useful feedback enabling amendment and resubmission. All feedback is constructive.

Looking forward to receiving certificate and commence searching for employment opportunities.

This course also provided an opportunity to reflect on the construction of our own language - shame we dont learn our own language in this manner at school!

The TEFL Academy online course was challenging and provided me with all the necessary knowledge needed to start my career in TEFL. The staff was always professional and friendly and all interaction done with them was well received (even the silly questions at times). They reassured me when querying about the course and lived up to the expectations up until the end upon receiving my certificate. The assignments were a bit difficult but upon reading and researching, I was able to figure out exactly what to do. The staff also assured me that they would assist in building my CV and assisting in finding work. TEFL Academy is really one of the best around. Other companies online seemed to scam their clients. TEFL Academy gave me the confidence to start this new venture!

I would highly recommend this course to anyone who would like to begin a career teaching English as a foreign language! I completed this course alongside my university degree and I found it extremely manageable because you can decide when you work and how much you complete each time you log on. The three assignments come with clear instructions and the markers gave me thorough feedback each time, meaning I was able to improve in the following assignments. This helped build my confidence throughout the course and I now feel confident in saying that I would be competent at teaching English as a foreign language. The face-to-face aspect was extremely helpful as it allowed me to ask our mentor questions that the online section may not be able to answer. It also allowed me to gain a great insight from someone who has been teaching English as a foreign language for years which helped build my knowledge base and skill set. İ completed the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) Online. İ really enjoyed every minute of studying it, because it was so interestingly an professionally designed. The tests at the end of every lesson were very challenging and helped a lot in remembering the concepts that were discussed. Teaching videos were also great!
İ am not a native english speaker, so i was afraid that maybe the course would be too difficult for me. But it wasn't. İt was quite easy and challenging at the same time. İ improved my english through the course a lot!
İ'm currently a teacher in Turkey and I constantly use the skills I learned from The TEFL Academy. İ took notes in every Unit from the course, so İ could renegotiate the ideas.

If your native in english this was a great refresher. When the time came where you thought you would get to somthing you dont understand, you were taught in a way to remind you of when you were taught in school, or there would be mini quizzes that make you have fun relearning it. Though, you do wish there were more of those mini quizzes in the thmo make those lengthy ones more fun.
There are a lot of times in the lessons where when you are reminded of somthing that you find natural to you , your taken a little deeper. Sometimes I would imagine teaching what you see in the course because its played out in such a fun way. If your given somthing you dont remember , dont worry it will comeback to you. The examples given in the course confuse you at times , but remember that half the fun of figuring it out .

A very affordable course, especially for the value it offers. Talk about bang for the buck! The TEFL Academy offers top-notch support with a staff always there to assist you, on work days of course. Course materials and lessons are of high quality and the 3 assignments are challenging enough to be the highlights of the course. To be honest, I had already landed a job when I enrolled, therefore I can't really assess their helpfulness in guiding me towards a job. But I already received an email including links to their job board and other great job boards, thus they seem promising in this regard too. Overall, I was impressed with the affordability and quality of The TEFL Academy's Online Level 5 Course and highly recommend it to anyone looking to get TEFL certified.

Being a rusty 42 year old busy mum of 2 , I hesitatingly signed up for TEFL Course(168 hour course. I had always wanted to pursue a teaching career but never got round to it. We were given six months to complete the course . It was extremely convenient to be able to this course from home . The online course content was tailor made and specific. i found myself growing as I progressed through the course. It was well structured ,progressive and easy to understand . I enjoyed the end of unit tests, they helped to consolidate my understanding. Assignments were always timeously marked and detailed feedback was given
The support system was excellent. Whenever , I logged a query I was attended to effectively and almost immediately.
