I just finished my 168 level 5 Tefl course with the Tefl Academy and i am so excited for whats coming next. It was bit of a challenge especially with the last assignment, but the assistance from the tutors makes the load lighter. The course layout itself is great and easy to understand,grammar is mostly not everyone's favorite topic but the way the Tefl Academy structures their grammar topics makes the topic clear and easy to grasp and later teach someone else. Even after finished they have been so helpful with my job application, the cover letter i received is very simple and straight to the point and really a piece that will be appealing to the employer. I really recommend the TEFL Academy to everyone that wants to take up a Tefl course.

I completed the Online Level 5 TEFL Course in preparation for a job abroad, and I am so glad I chose this course! The content was challenging but never overwhelming because of the accessibility of the support staff and plethora of resources. The course as a whole was structured in a logical and appropriate way, and the information was laid out in a clear manner. The structure of the course is definitely designed in a way that optimizes student comprehension and success. I feel not only prepared going into my upcoming job but equipped to handle a wide variety of classroom scenarios--ones which I would have struggled to handle beforehand. I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to obtain their TEFL certificate because I strongly believe it is the best!

I got so much from this course and the assessment was challenging in order to bring me up to a good standard. The feedback was informative and the resources and additional information provided great additional reading. The support was great and the course content exactly right for the course. The logical steps from unit to unit was brilliantly laid out and the incontestable affirmation of learning a great way of ensuring you are on course. The assignments covered a great breadth of the teaching needed. They challenged me and were sent back in the required time with specific support in them. This course was fun and challenging. The tutors marked assignments in a timely fashion and were very helpful in correcting mistakes and guidance. The tech support was speedy and I received my PDF certificate in a matter of days. Very impressed overall. The content was challenging and I learned a lot that I didn't know. They do provide you with job sites and boards on completion. The tutors also marked the assignments with extreme care, proving that each student is individually looked after, I was very impressed with this. The program has extra reading materials and research you can conduct throughout the course to expand your knowledge. The course is also available for review once you've completed it for 6 months so you can review your work and materials.

I found the online Level 5 TEFL course challenging, engaging and worthwhile. The ability to study at a time and in a location to suit me was invaluable. I was able to delay the start of the course until I was able to dedicate uninterpreted time to really focus on applying myself to the course. Support from the admin team was excellent, they couldn't have been more accommodating of my request to delay the start date. Any query I raised as to course material was answered quickly via their online system, and feedback on my assignments was thorough. I found I was able to complete the course within the four to six weeks which they advised was possible if you studied full time. This meant I accessed the qualification within my required time frame.

I really enjoyed the content of the course, it was very helpful and gave a lot of information. Would defiantly recommend it to other aspiring teachers. The assignments were challenging but markers did help where they could and gave assistance. I liked that I could do the course in my own time and work at my own pace as I am working full time as well as studying. I found myself taking a lot of notes and would recommend having PDF's on the content to print out or save on your computer for a neater and more accurate notes to study from and use in the future. Not very often, the website would be down which is inconvenient when you have set aside a day to make progress in your course, they did justify it by extending the course for that day or two but working full time, it was a lot harder to make up lost time.

Having worked in a state school for 17 years, I was ready for a change. The 168 hour online TEFL course was brilliant in guiding me through what is required to teach EFL students. The assignments were quite challenging but the guidelines were very detailed with step by step instructions on how to complete them and there was access to an online Tutor incase of any problems. The assignments really make you focus on what you have learnt and completing them successfully gives you the confidence to know that you can do it. Having completed the course I studied a top up 'Teaching Online' course which provided valuable information including the pit falls to look out for when starting teaching online. I now feel confident and ready to start my new career!

The course is very interesting, the topics are well thought out, designed and explained. It provides thorough knowledge on how to present language to different students. The course gathers information regarding a wide range of topics, provides useful materials and interesting ideas.

The three assignments you have to complete allow a person to transition from being freely able to use English to somebody who can actually teach it. You learn how to evaluate, treat correctly your students, understand and lead them on their journey.

The interactive activities have you practicing what you just learned as you go which solidifies your knowledge. In a way the course is structured the same way you should be teaching your students so it is very useful to observe the methods used.
