The online TEFL program is easy and convenient to navigate. I was able to complete this program while working full time and going to school and having a small child. I was able to complete the modules around my schedule. The curriculum was easy to follow and support was available if needed. Only concern is that I have been unable to find an online assignment using the certification. I have a Masters in Education but have been unsuccessful at finding online teaching TEFL positions.

This is an accredited Course. That's the very first thing I wanna tell you. Secondly, the course without tutors is inexpensive compared to others I've seen out there. You can find free online TEFL courses which I checked out thinking I could save some money and would NOT recommend. I quickly returned to the ITTT website and signed up. The free course of that other website was filled with so many grammatical errors, you'd be ashamed of yourself if you ended up with a certificate like that.

ITTT is definitely worth the $239usd I spent for my 120hr course with no tutor. I loved the choice of being able to complete this course over 180 days. The multiple choice questions are not a walk over, so don't underestimate them. Tread carefully because you need a really good average to complete the course. I'm not gonna lie, there were times I hated having to do the MCQ's because I just wanted to hurry and do everything but the more you rush, the more your grades will suffer. So slow down and try to do 2 units per day if you see that the units are short enough for you to do that. You need a 70% average to pass but don't limit yourself to that. You need patience as well to do this, trust me. I signed up in December and completed my course in February of 2018. The lesson plan was the hardest challenge I faced with this online course but I completed everything and now I have my pristine certification for Teaching English as a Foreign Language. I was so proud of myself that I updated my resume with my new acquisition the very day I got it in the mail. Now, I work in China teaching children and the course units helped me prepare for it. Units like classroom management, lesson planning, and different ESA strategies have helped me in the classroom. Plus, after getting your certicate they also send you emails to tell you which countries you can find a job in and their blog has many helpful topics I browse through. The most recent one that caught my eye was saving for your student loans. So yeah, I would recommend ITTT to you to get started in the ESL world. I absolutely see how I got my money's worth with this course.

I started this course so I could teach over seas in Cambodia for a year. I didn’t end up going to camdbodia but so glad I completed this course anyways. It is user friendly and allows you to get your work don’t in your own time. The material is layed out in a nice organized manner. However some of the material used I didn’t even know and wasn’t familiar with. So it’s surprising to me. I am exspected to teach other people from other languages parts of English I don’t even understand. I know learning everything is a must but just an observation.

I am a teacher from Nigeria. My oversees teaching experience began after I had a 120 hour TEFL course with ITTT TEFL.
In the past, I had always believed my teaching career was limited to my country, because Nigeria is not categorized as a Native English country, though I studied English Education. But after I read some articles from ITTT on the possibility of teaching English abroad as a non-native, I registered for the 120 hours online course. Sincerely speaking, it was indeed a wonderful experience for me. I got introduced to different modern methodologies of teaching people of different ages and backgrounds.

Oh, I can't forget how challenging it was to get through with my lesson plan. It was rejected twice, but with the step-by-step guidance and assistance from the reviewer, I was able to get it right the third time. Few hours later, I got the soft copy of my TEFL certificate, and in less than two weeks, the hard copy was delivered to me.

Getting a job was made easier through the regular job posts on ITTT TEFL Facebook page. From there I got my first offer from Mexico, and the second offer from Turkey. It is important to note that I was able to perform excellently well during my job interviews because of the correct application of what I learnt from the 120 hours course.

And within the last three years that I completed this program, I have recommended the program to a large number of Teachers, who also have unique testimonies about how the program has changed their ESL teaching career.

I have really enjoyed the ITTT online course. I feel like it has vastly helped me feel prepared for any future TEFL teaching that I may do, and it is very user friendly. I would recommend this program to anyone! The units take a little time and so do the videos, but it is honestly worth it. You are able to gain so much information from them. The tests are pretty straightforward as well and don’t try to trick you. Thank you for making this course so helpful!

The course was very informative and well planned. It had all the information broken down into nice blocks and was easy to follow. I enjoyed the tests which gave you a chance to challenge your learning.
Support was neither great nor bad. They sometimes answered my questions in a way that was helpful and other times were a bit dry. I would definitely tell people about the course. It helped me better understand and help my students.

I decided to do the Tefl course although a native English speaker and have taught English for a number of years in several countries because I wanted to develop my craft. I was also in between jobs at the time and having been out of the classroom for a while it served as a wonderful way to keep plugged in to the trends of teaching and keep my skills sharp for when I would ultimately return to the classroom.

This being my first experience with any online education platform I was truly impressed. The options were many to suit whatever need the student may have, instructions were clear and the material was easily accessible.

I signed up for a TEFL training course in the winter of 2017. I was teaching full time and struggling to stay on top on my workload. The course was easy to manage, with clear expectations.
